Great spot on the side of the slopes on the main run back to the chairlift. Apartments at the back of the building don't exactly have a view but if you are there for the skiiing you won't notice, otherwise try and get a room facing down the slope. Literal ski on ski off with easy 2 minute walk to one of the after ski spots. As its a decent hike to get there from the base of the mountain, a little hard for shopping runs unless you have a car. Bus transfer in the morning to ski rental was great though. 
Rooms are not spacious but they are nice and comfortable and well furnished. Easy fit for a family of 4, but 4 grown ups is tight but doable for a shorter stay. Fully equipped kitchen was great and staff were friendly. Only negative is you are quite isolated from walking anywere unless you enjoy a long tough walk back up. So its mostly about the skiiing!

On our Norway road trip we would find accommodation on ad hoc basis. The offer of 99 € on booking.com seemed very reasonable and as we were already on the road. Well, little did we know. When making the reservation we were not warned or informed of the cleaning fee of circa 50 €! If you read your confirmation email small print carefully you will notice that there is a mention of this fee. We were forced to pay this and felt totally cheated - It left a really bad taste to a otherwise decent stay.

We spent a night at the Solsiden apartments in Oyer between 20-21st June. We made the booking through booking(dot)com and were misinformed about the cleaning charges. The initial booking rate did not include any cleaning charges and was added as an optional. So, like usual rented apartments where cleaning is optional, we spent a hour cleaning the apartment and then were still charged for the cleaning separately. We are obviously disappointed and angry. We were on a hectic schedule and could have saved ourselves some precious time if we knew we had to pay for cleaning anyway. We felt cheated. I will not recommend this place to anyone for this particular reason. All travelers should make this point clear while booking with them. Otherwise, the apartments were OK and had a nice view overlooking the hill.

All apartments are equipped with a sauna, gas fireplace, kitchen with gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, drying cupboard, shoe dryer, wireless internet, flat screen TV and a ski storage room.
