Breck Inn

Breckenridge

Not a resort like advertised. It’s definitely an upgraded motel lol. Was not happy. But it was fairly clean.

Not a resort

This was an okay stay if you do not need anything fancy. It was close to everything (About 5-minute drive to anywhere central to Breckenridge). The breakfast and amenities were that of a Quality Inn or very basic hotel. For example, there were no non-dairy options which is pretty common in a basic set up nowadays. The staff were nice, but no one went above and beyond. We had to ask for a remote for our tv, which had to be programmed - that was a bit weird. Overall, it was okay, but I would not choose to stay here again. 

Good for Basic Needs

We were awarded a stay that was originally described as being at the Grand Lodge, so we were surprised when our reservation was instead at the Breck Inn. While the Brecken was adequate overall, it did not match the level of quality we were expecting based on that initial information.

The room itself was decent, and the bedroom was comfortable enough. However, the noise from both the heater and the street made for a restless night and significantly disrupted our sleep.

Housekeeping and overall room upkeep felt minimal. We had to retrieve additional towels ourselves, which added to the sense that service was only meeting the bare minimum.

That said, the Breck Inn  is a fine, average place to stay. The staff were friendly, and the location is very convenient—close to everything you need in Breckenridge. It’s also a more affordable option, which may appeal to some travelers.

Overall, it was an okay experience, but it did not live up to the expectations set by the promise of a stay at the Grand Lodge.

Breck Inn has a great location and value

The staff is extremely friendly, and the check-in and check-out went out smoothly. The breakfast is good, and their muffins are great. We were travelling with our doggy, and he even got his welcoming pack (dog treats and a toy), which was nice; details are important. Also, it was clean, the beds were comfy, and there was a Friday happy hour with free charcuterie and wine. I would stay here again, definitely. Price vs. value is great.

Excellent price vs value

First, the staff was simply amazing. It’s clear they all take such pride in their work.  They were knowledgeable, helpful and incredibly friendly. The Inn was spotless our room and the common breakfast area were super clean. They offered a surprisingly large amount of options for breakfast, far more than the typical continental options. They Inn is well located and close to skiing and downtown.
