Con: Fireplace worked for 5 minutes after each turn on of switch.  Heater did not work, the door to the room would not shut properly.  Code to get in parking garage or the elevator did not work. 

Pro:  Hotel well located to village, staff was very nice, the bed was comfortable - big plus was that it snowed like crazy:)

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.  I know the heat pump heating units can be louder than many prefer.  During your next stay, please look in your room's closet and you will find that we have placed silent oil-filled radiators in every room.  They have the same power as the heat pumps, but operate perfectly silently.  We keep then aside in hte closets because they are not ideal for families with children or pets.

The room was clean and small. The staff was friendly and the location was great. However, the heating system is very old with a Unit in the room that cycles on and off every 20 seconds. It sounds like an airplane coming through the room every 20 seconds and there is no way you can sleep. We finally got up at 4am to turn it off. We had a big ski day ahead and was so disappointed to not have a good nights sleep. Time for a new HVAC system.

Location is excellent. Room was very clean but showing a lot of wear and tear. Loved having a kitchenette. Bed and pillows were awful.

We travelled with friends and were upgraded to Mountain Side Loft rooms.  The first impressions were really good - a loft to sleep in, and kitchen and living room on the main floor.  The loft even came with a dry sauna!   The facility has a nice outdoor pool and hot tub. 

The location is great.  We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Whistler Village.

We pride ourselves in offering the most reasonably priced family stays in Whistler, and have lowered our rates a little more while our pool deck is under renovation.  In fact, the pod hotel across the street is currently charging more for a double mattress in a pod than we are for a Loft suite with full kitchen, two bathrooms, Queen bed, queen sofa bed and private sauna!

I'm glad you were able to take advantage of our value pricing during your stay.

As above, not very good, noisy refrigerator, closed hot tub and swimming pool, no bath tub.  The place should be designated as youth hostel.

Disappointed
