We arrived slightly early, however Alex and Lucie made us incredibly welcome and dropped us into town for a lovely lunch. The chalet was super given that we were three generations of family and the spaciousness of the chalet really worked for us.
Food and paired wines were excellent and the driver service a godsend. Great hosts in a ‘home from home’ location. Hunter and Lilly were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble.

Five star du Ciel!

Our family holiday at Ferme du Ciel was perfect in every way. Stunning views of the Alps from the living room and balcony which was a joy to wake up to each morning. The  chalet was spacious and comfortable, with all bedrooms of a similar size and en-suite. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped  and we had everything we needed. There was lots to do for all ages in Samoëns and surrounding area and the glorious weather was a bonus! Our hosts Lucie and Alex could not have been more welcoming and helpful and gave us recommendations for walks, restaurants etc. Highly recommended.

We ended up having our meals there as well and the food was truly exceptional.The owners and the team there couldn’t have been nicer.
Everything we adked for, we got and even more. Truly on of our best vacation ever. I would recommend it to anyone!

Excellent hospitality all around!!!

I didn't just stay at Ferme du Ciel, I had my wedding there and invited 80 of my closest family and friends.  
Lucie and Alex (chalet owners) helped me for 12 months planning the event, recommending a local florist and other service providers who proved to be amazing.  I trusted them implicitly and didn't even visit Samoens before staying with them. 
We had a marquee in the front garden, which provided ample space for all guests to be seated comfortably for a sit-down dinner.  The bar area was located adjacent to the old wood-fire pizza oven at the side of the chalet.  The pizza's were amazing and having a few left over, meant we could leave them on the side for guests to pick at through the evening. 
We were due to have our ceremony in the adjacent field with a 'wow' view, but due to heavy rain, we moved it to the marquee.  Lucie and Alex rearranged everything at short notice and in all honesty, by the time I arrived at the alter, I did not care about the rain.  I have just got the photos back, and using the local scenery was just as wow as the mountain view.  
The day after the wedding was typically sunny and we invited everyone back to the chalet and had a BBQ.  The kids were in the pool, the last of the beer was drank and we got some extra photos in the sunshine with the view of the mountains we wanted.  
We stayed with Lucie and Alex for 7 days.  They were attentive and very accommodating.  Their prices are very reasonable and worth every penny. Our guests are already making enquiries about staying with them during the ski season. I have no regrets about choosing Lucie & Alex at Ferme du Ciel to  host us, our family and friends and play such an integral role in our special day.  Thank you guys 

Wedding of my dreams

Stay here in Feb 23 with extended family - 15 of us in all - 7 young children and 8 adults. Had an absolutely amazing time. Chalet is excellently appointed - great bedrooms, spacious lounge, separate TV area where we parked the kids. hot tub and sauna were great. Catering was fantastic and Alex and Lucy were very gracious hosts and very patient with our complex needs! chalet is well located and they run a quick shuttle service to all of the main lifts - they know the ins and outs of the piste map too so very easy to plan the day. would highly recommend. 

Half-term skiing with the whole family!
