Only stayed here for one night on a business trip but the size of the room was great with a small bedroom but a large living room area with plenty of office space. The breakfast area can get really busy, best to avoid the very early morning hours.

While our breakfast offer follows the format of a smaller family-style hotel, we do provide gluten-free bread and several naturally gluten-free and dairy-free options upon request. We regret if this was not communicated clearly or if our reception team did not offer sufficient assistance during your stay — this is something we will immediately address through additional staff training.

The hotel is, at best, average when it comes to rooms and other services, but exceptionally below average if a guest has dietary restrictions. Allergens at the breakfast buffet are not labelled, and they do not provide suitable options even if you inform them of your dietary needs before or upon arrival. The best they can offer is defrosted gluten-free bread, and for everything else, you’re left to fend for yourself. The receptionist also seemed completely apathetic and offered no help. If possible, book somewhere else.

While the hotel itself does not feature a dedicated bar, as part of the Sava Hotels Bled resort we are pleased to offer our guests a wide choice of venues just steps away: a lovely aperitif bar in the neighbouring hotel, the famous Kavarna Park café on the lakeshore, our Michelin-recommended Julijana fine-dining restaurant, as well as relaxed dining at our camp and glamping site. We will make sure this information is communicated more clearly so that our guests can take full advantage of all resort amenities.

I am glad you enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and I hope you will consider returning so we may provide you with a more seamless and memorable experience at Lake Bled.

The hotel gets 4 stars from Eurostars. 

My wife and I stayed here for two nights as part of a hiking tour. We were greeted by a single, less than friendly hotel clerk.  After a long day of hiking , we were looking for a bar! The hotel does not have one. 

We asked the clerk for advice on where to find a bar and a good restaurant and were told to walk around Lake Bled and search. 

The room had two beds shoved together and the European style bed cover instead of sheets. 

The bathroom had a bathtub/ adjustable nozzle shower head instead of a dedicated shower. 

The breakfast buffet was good, however.

We had a family suite which had a room with a double bed connected to a room with two single beds connected to a kitchen and bathroom.  The room was somewhat dated but clean and functional.  Helpful to have a fridge.  Some basic cooking equipment and stove if you wanted to self cater. 

No air conditioning.  We had balcony overlooking the lake.

Breakfast had a range of hot and cold food, all very edible. 

Location close to the lake. 

Stay included entry to the wellness pools at rikli balance which made it good value. 

Only downside to this hotel was the receptionist who chain smoked all day just outside the hotel doors, and other guests smoking on balconies which in hot weather with needing to leave balcony doors open as no AC drifted into the room.

Otherwise good value for money and I'd stay again.

Parking available for 10 euros a day.

Good value for no frills

The Hotel Savica Garni is only 250 m from Lake Bled. This six-storey hotel has 103 rooms and 14 apartments with a kitchen. The rooms feature a bathroom with a tub or shower, cable TV, cable internet, a safe deposit box, a minibar and a balcony. They are customised to suit the needs of families. Connecting family rooms are available on request. The hotel has a children's playroom adapted to children of various ages. A free parking lot is in front of the hotel. Guests have free admission (once a day) to the swimming and thermal pools in the nearby Živa Wellness and a 30% discount on saunas. The hotel has its own breakfast room.
