Andermatt

A hotel that feels home.
Location
At the end of the road. May seem a bit long but it was a good way for us to know nearly all about Andermatt by the time we reached the hotel.
Nope, I was not welcome with the "grand" and "stone-cold modern" reception and room. I received welcome note with physical keys to our room. Room on second floor. Did not notice or see a lift, so carried bags to second floor.
Room
Homely, spacious, clean and tidy. No need to hang door sign to clean. The room is clean daily.
Reception 
Have real physical person with warm smile
Breakfast
Spacious, quiet and clean dinning area. Feels more like at home than a resturant. Good variety, quantity and superb quality. Must try the croissant. It tasted home baked and not commercial. And you get good branded quality yogurt. 
Safety
Given it is family run, critics might be on safety, felt safe in sleep and nothing was missing during stay.
Considering the cost in Switzerland (which is usually $$$$). the value-for-money and quality service of this family hotel deserve a five star.
