Hotel Alpenfriede

Sölden

Alpenfriede is perfection in every way. The welcoming staff, the homely feeling with a touch of luxury. Every corner of this hotel has been carefully and exquisitely designed and considered. The food from breakfast, afternoon snack and fine evening dining is a culinary delight. 
If anyone is considering where to stay in Hochsolden this beats any competition. It is perfection in the Alps. 
A special mention to Julian who is a credit to the hotel staff.

Perfectly exquisite in every way. The place to visit.

This was the best snow trip experiece we have ever done. I don't even know where to start, because everything was so good. From the moment of our arrival, we felt like we are at a bigger hotel, yet the treatment was as if we were staying at a family home. 
The boot room is so luxurious with the ship skins on all benches, and you can sit outside to a very beautiful mountain view. 
The staff is the kindest, and everyone is so professional and sweet. In terms of personality and of a high quality service we have been receiving every day and night. Big shout out to Julian, especially. This also includes the cleaners - every day we would come back to carefully folded items and everything arranged so neatly. 
The food every day is incredible. From fresh gingers during breakfast to very special meals during the dinner. The special wine "G" is a must have!
The hotels interior and rooms are so well thought of, there is nothing we can add. They are so beautiful and cosy. The design elements all over hotel feels like every single detail has been thought of, it all feels so magical. 
The sauna is very special too, has different sauna rooms and different chill rooms, and a balcony outside with a mountain view to chill on after a steamy room. 
The hotel is also located between few lifts, so very easy to get out of and come back to. We were waking up early to do the first runs and coming back for breakfast at 9am to leave again around 10:30am. So dreamy.
I would 100% recommend this hotel as it is the most special place I have ever seen and experienced. Big thanks to everyone who has put it together!!!

BEST SNOW HOLIDAY EVER

Everything about the hotel is 5 out of 5. You receive a very friendly welcome. The rooms are great. We had two rooms, one brilliantly stylish with a huge glass frontage facing the piste with a Juliet balcony, the other facing down the valley to Soelden below, with lovely balcony. Both rooms were well thought out with plenty of options for organising and keeping all your ski kit in order (unlike some ski hotels were it seems the rooms are planned not for skiers). Food is plentiful to the point of too much at times and of high quality. The pastry chef particularly needs a mention as the bread, cakes and desserts were of the highest standard every day. But, as I have said in reviews previously, it is the staff that make a place. The family who own the hotel set a high standard and lead by example. Cleaners, bar staff, waiters, cooks, reception are all excellent. Ski in, ski out and only reached by a red or black run so for those with little ski experience maybe enquire from the hotel if they can get you to your lessons another way. Any downsides? Yes, it’s so good I don’t want everyone to book so we can’t get a room next year. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so special.
