We keep returning to the Alpenland and will be back again very soon. It has all the warmth of character that you would hope for from a family run hotel, as well as first class professionalism that makes your stay totally spoiling in every way. We love the way that you can ski straight on to the slopes and we love the cosy new bar and restaurant. Above all, the staff are so courteous and make the whole stay so relaxing.

This is a great hotel still run by a family. All the staff very pleasant and so helpful. Our room was large and spotlessly clean. Quiet at night but we were on the top floor. Wonderful facilities. Beautiful pool and nice spa. The hotel is welcoming to children and has a really great nursery in the basement for children. There is an early sitting for supper for kids.  May I add I didn’t feel the hotel was over run with noisy children but we went in term time.  Above all you can ski and  ski out. The locker room is good.  The most important thing to comment on as well as the staff is the food. Everything totally delicious. Great chefs. Wonderful food and food was served in the afternoon as a snack when returning from skiing. This is the nicest hotel we have stayed in for skiing and if we ever ski again we will definitely return. A well run hotel. 
We went with a one year old and the staff were very sweet towards her and kind to me being a non skier and child carer!!

A late decision to go for a few days skiing led to our 4 night stay in a 2 bedroom superior apartment at the Alpenland. The accomodation was clean, modern, very comfortable and perfect for what we needed. The staff at reception were extremely helpful pre arrival and also on the day of check in - thank you. The hotel's location is piste side with the ski room literally 10 paces from the ski slope. The only negative we encountered was the one night we ate dinner at the hotel - it was easily the poorest meal anywhere of our short stay. It was also VERY disappointing to see the hotel policy is to charge almost 6 EURO for a carafe of TAP water - nowhere else at dinner, nor lunch up the mountain did we encounter this. Consequently we didn't leave a service charge - which is of course unfair on the wait staff - but I fail to understand such a policy?  Anyway, beyond that we had an excellent stay, and should we wish to stay in an apartment again when in Obergurgl , we would definitely return.

We had a wonderful time at our recent stay here. 

It is a true family business where all the staff care about giving you the best holiday. 
The ski out takes you directly down to the main area where the lessons and lifts are. 

I used the spa 5 times. It was on par with the spas that’s I visit in the UK and included in the price. It is a naked spa, which I was a little hesitant about attending as in the UK we cover up. However it was so quiet I need not have worried. Any fellow users were discreet. 

As we stayed in an apartment we did not eat at the restaurant much. However on the one evening we did, the a la carte menu had plenty of choice and was delicious. We also ordered baked goods for breakfast which was a great service.  The apartment was massive, completely spotless and equipped with everything you need for a self catered trip.

Over all 10/10! We will return!

The ,,Alpenland" was built in Tyrolean Style with the love to the detail. The wooden interior and the light elegance style give the hotel harmony. - ..... Just to feel good.Already in our second generation, we look forward to welcoming both our new and returning guests annually with genuine hospitality.All rooms combine latest comfort with cozy atmosphere. After a good sleep a varied breakfast buffet is waiting for you. During the evenings dine and enjoy the excellent cuisine.Relaxation after an exciting day outside you find in our generously extended Sauna area with five different kinds of Saunas, Showers, Relaxation Areas and Massage.Our location is unique!In Winter directly at the slopesIn summer the numerous walking paths start right in front of our hotel.The philosophy or our house is, that you as our guest will always be on centre stage of our efforts and we aim to do everything possible to ensure a perfect stay.
