Great location for skiing in Kappl, if you want to ski in Ischgl it's a bit far, but there's a shuttle bus (free of charge) that stops just in front of the hotel every 20-30 minutes. 
We had breakfast for 1 week every day in the hotel, a bit of more variety on food wouldn't hurt. The taste of the coffee from the coffee machine was not my favorite. 
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable and cosy

This hotel is definitely not 4 star standard , it’s a solid 3 star hotel with good location to Kappl ski resort and direct bus link to Ischgl. The hotel itself is old , the rooms are old , shampoo and hair conditioner is not available . The gym is very small , basically a room with 2 cardio machines and an old weight machine. The breakfast is also average.

Wanted to go skiing at Ischgl and booked here at the last minute because all the hotels in Ischgl were almost 500 Euros/night.  While this place was only slightly cheaper, it turned out to be a great deal.  The shuttle service stopped right in front and the ski room is in the basement, which saved a lot of trouble.

The staff was very friendly and even though our room was on the street side, it was a great room.  Loved the shower and the amenities.  The restaurant was convenient and enjoyed the pizza here.  I was surprised on the assigned tables for breakfast and the tea hour had some great food.  The sauna was great and my buddy relaxed out there for a while.

If you want to hang out in Ischgl, we went on the shuttle, but had to take a cab back, which was 25 Euros.  Felt that was a little steep, but can't complain considering all that we got out of this place.  If you like motorcycles, you'll love the displays they have throughout the hotel.   

Kappl ski is right next door, which we skiied the next day for a few hours.  It's totally worth it.  I was pleasantly surprised and felt this would be a good mountain to bring my family and beginner skiiers.

We were very happy with our recent stay at the Auhof. Great location beside ski station and very nice service even with 6 kids in our party. At mealtimes we got a table for us all together and they remembered our breakfast choices the next days. Dinner was delicious, meat cooked to perfection and the kids really liked the pizzas. Another plus is the Paznaum, a mini afternoon buffet to snack after returning from skiing. The sauna and wellness area is modern, clean and nicely equipped and they even provide massages is wished. The rooms themselves were big to fit families and luggage well, even if decor is a bit traditional. We definitely would go back!

My second time with my family at Hotel Auhof...it is still great....good location near the ski lift, good rooms, friendly staff and excellent food.  Kids menu one hour before dinner worked well...  
I highly recommend it.  ..well I would not have come back if it was not good.
