Nice hotel. very clean. restaurant staff were fantastic led by Christina. food was great.
Had a small problem late one night, 11.45pm, of others on a nearby balcony thinking its ok to shout and keep drinking. Went to reception explaining what was happening. The lady owner told me to sort it out for myself as she didn't want to get involved. Very disappointed with her attitude. Great weather.

Hotel Continental.

Just returned from a 1 week stay at the Hotel Continental in Garda.  Whilst the resort was absolutely beautiful the hotel was so disappointing. It was very dated and in need of a full refurbishment. The decor appeared to date back to the 80’s. 
On arrival the reception staff were not particularly friendly and we were told that our room was on the ground floor despite the fact that we had requested a room on a higher level. We asked if we could be given another room but were told quite abruptly that this was not possible. 
The room was very dark and smelled musty. The beds and pillows were of very poor quality and I did not sleep well the entire week. 
The bathroom was horrible. There were mould marks on the ceiling and the shower was absolutely tiny. 
The food was very mediocre and there was little or no provision for vegetarians.   However the staff in the dining room were helpful in particular Christina who went out of her way to point out the food that would be suitable for me to eat. 
I could not recommend this hotel but would strongly advise anyone thinking of going to make sure that their room is not on the ground floor.
