Cervinia

We had a confirmed and fully paid reservation for two rooms at this property in Cervinia. Several months after booking, and after rates had increased for high season, our reservation was cancelled. We did not request this cancellation.

The cancellation left us scrambling to secure alternative accommodation during peak season, when comparable properties are significantly more expensive and largely unavailable.

Cancelling confirmed reservations during high season creates serious disruption for families planning international travel. Future guests may wish to consider this risk when making a reservation.

Hotel cancelled our stay

Made a booking for 4 nights. 14 days before arrival the hotel suddenly cancels the reservation. I have received three confirmations on the booking directly from the hotel. Despite those confirmations they cancel stating the reason is ”we only sell full weeks Sat-Sat”. That could of course be conditions but then they should not sell individual nights.
I would recommend booking with another hotel if you want to me sure you can travel.

Cancelled booking 14 days before stay

Just stayed for a week in this great hotel in Cervinia. Well located on the main street 5 mins walk (in ski boots) from the Cretaz chair lift, which is where the ski school started. We had good sized rooms with nice facilities. 3 of us in a double with an adjoining room with an extra single sofa bed. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice. The hotel had a nice lounge area which did close early on some evenings. The ski room downstairs was big enough and didn't get too crowded in the morning. We used the shop next door to hire our ski equipment. We werent disturbed by any music from the bars even in the street facing windows, 
 unlike some reviews here. We were staying B&B and used the hotel restaurant once which was great, as was all of the restaurants we visited in Cervinia. The only negative I can think of is that when we requested the shuttle bus from the gondola the hotel didn't tell us which one we needed to get (the hotel Serotelli one). Finally just want to say how lovely and helpful all the staff were which contributed to us having a great week there. Despite a lack of recent snowfall we still managed to find decent snow every day by going high enough at the right time of day, even if it was a bit icy first thing (which is April skiing for you)!

Great ski hotel in Cervinia

Loved this hotel. We had 2 rooms, both comfortable. Stayed 7 nights. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great - good quality cereal, yoghurt, eggs, salami, fruit, baked goods. Rooms were large and well appointed. Ski lockers in basement. Fantastic location, 2 mins walk to the ski lift.
