We stayed at hotel Delle Alpi as a family of three after Christmas through New Year, and here’s an honest review of what we found. On arrival we were very happy to be seen to promptly and very pleased with the hotel’s appearance. There was also plenty of snow surrounding the hotel and we could see how easy reach the ski rental shop and slopes were for us, almost ski in ski out just a small road to cross from the back of the hotel. It’s on the end of the ski resort but this means you get to ski your way back across the resort to get home. The room was big with a stunning view, we were more than happy with our choice of hotel. The first evening we met Stefano the owner, who was great to chat to! I asked him if he could put us down for wine tasting and he replied ‘Of course we just need 8 adults’ This was no problem after chatting at the bar we soon had enough of us to go ahead 2 days later. We had a lovely evening in the cellar with all that wine and food accompaniments. The children had made friends and loved playing pool in the bar area. We really enjoyed the food at this hotel, always something fabulous to eat, we ate buffet and off the menu, all of which was amazing! The hotel has a gorgeous spa which you have to book the day before and visited 4 times at 5pm during our week. The skiing was absolutely brilliant, we loved the resort. We did the entire ski area apart from Temu which was closed, the glacier run was our favourite! We found it reasonably priced to eat and drink on the slopes and also not too badly priced at the hotel. We had such a fantastic time, we can’t leave a single negative comment because we don’t have any. I would definitely recommend this hotel and resort to anyone.

Our second time at Hotel Delle Alpi, and an even better experience this time around. I'm not sure how but we were assigned one of the larger suites with a panoramic view from the balcony overlooking the valley. For just two of us, it was more than big enough.

The breakfast had lots of choice with cooked eggs and bacon, fruit, assorted yoghurts, cornflakes and local pastries. My only point of criticism was that evening meals didn't generally have many vegetarian options. This was especially noticeable on the nights when typical regional dishes were presented. No big deal for us as we sometimes prefer eating away from the hotel but it could cause friction for those who expect a wide veggie choice every evening. 

Spa access was included in the deal so we spent an hour down there almost every evening. As another reviewer mentioned, it's a magical experience to be sitting in a warm outdoor pool with snowflakes drifting around your ears. Even though the hotel seemed quite busy, for the week we were there, the spa wasn't that crowded.

Staff were all friendly and helpful. Although my Italian isn't that great, their patience in attempting to understand my various comments and requests was really appreciated. 

I've just been trying to get another week at Delle Alpi before the ski season ends but all UK tour operators have it fully booked on the dates we have available. Pity, as I'd have no hesitation in staying there again.

One of the best in Passo Tonale

Hotel delle Alpi**** located just few meters from the slopes. The hotel has every comfort for a good holiday: welcoming and friendly staff, high level cousine with all the best traditional Italian and local dishes to enjoy in the different restaurants room, five types of rooms all big and confortable, wellness centre with swimming pool and out side jacuzzi, mini club and entertainment for a pleasent apres-ski, meeting rooms available and wi-fi connection...Perfect location for skiing the slopes are just behind the hotel!Perfect location for hiking and trekking in the beautiful mountain of two Nationa Parks Stelvio & Adamello.
