From booking to leaving, the staff were efficient and easy to deal with. 
On arrival, they put our bags in the room while we checked in. 
The room was a lot larger than I was expecting which was nice. 
The bed was comfortable. The room did get a little warm and we were able to open the balcony door a little to offset the heat. 
The food was tasty and had enough variety over the course of our stay. 
Loved the wellness area from working out in the gym to sitting in the sauna/pool overlooking the ski slopes. 
Great ski in/out area.

From the warm and efficient welcome / check-in we thought we were in for a lovely few days at the Enzian, and we were right.
Perched above a red run in the mid-mountain cluster of hotels called Hochsölden, this is a class act staffed by friendly and efficient people.
Our modern, stylishly furnished ‘double room living’ was perfect for two people, with plenty of storage. It was slightly odd that the separate toilet had no basin, but other than that it was great.
The spa is very nice, but I still don’t understand why being naked is supposedly more hygienic, and the outdoor pool and some other facilities are naked only, except between 9am and 1pm; maybe it’s my British reserve. Anyway, the non-naked indoor pool, sauna, steam room etc. are also very nice, so also in typical British fashion I can’t complain.
The guys in the lovely bar make fabulous cocktails with great care and skill, and there is an extensive selection available.
The restaurant food was very good, but some dishes could have had more flavour in my opinion. The breakfast selection was also very good; but the evening cheese selection was limited and a bit ordinary.
My only negative comment would be that access to the slope needs to be substantially improved because it is treacherous and I saw a few people fall on the awkward, icy slope and there will be an injury that will spoil someone’s holiday, if there hasn’t already been.
I would choose the Enzian again if staying in Hochsölden.

5 Stars – Another unforgettable stay at Hotel Enzian Hochsölden

This November, we returned to Hotel Enzian Hochsölden to celebrate my birthday, and it was once again a truly exceptional experience. This was our second time staying at the hotel and my second birthday celebrated here, and they made it just as memorable as the first.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly by Violetta, who made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Her kindness and attentiveness set the tone for the weekend. To my delight, the team surprised me with a cake, a candle, a thoughtful birthday card, and a welcome gift in the room. It’s those extra touches that make this place so special.

The dining experience was fantastic, and I have to mention the bar! Fabian and the team there make an incredible espresso martini – with real espresso – and it’s probably the best I’ve ever had.

The spa at Hotel Enzian is simply amazing. I had a couple of massages with Eva, and they were heavenly. She made me feel completely relaxed and cared for. And that infinity pool – wow! Even in the crisp, cold weather, the water was perfectly warm, making it a dreamy spot to unwind while taking in the stunning alpine views.

To top it all off, Thomas, the manager, even came to my table to personally congratulate me on my birthday, which was such a thoughtful gesture.

From start to finish, the staff treated us with warmth and the highest level of service. Hotel Enzian Hochsölden truly feels like a home away from home, and I cannot wait to return. Thank you for making my birthday so special – again! 100% recommend this place!
