Wonderful rustic Alpine hotel with a great view. It is everything you want from a stay in the mountains. Arriving at Hotel De  L’Etrier it is picture perfect, and after entering the stone floored lobby the view hits you through the lovely Lounge and bar area which also has an enormous fireplace. Rooms are very clean, in a traditional style, spacious, some with balconies and views. Very comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The staff are really helpful and friendly - particular mention for Chiara who checked us in and was informative and absolutely charming. A wonderful welcome! There is a superb  indoor/outdoor pool gym and spa area too. It is everything you could possibly want - either as a place to return to after a hard days skiing- that fire is beckoning -  or as a beautiful base in the summer from which to explore the hiking trails and the local town. Not to be missed!

Superb Alpine Hotel

Hotel de l'Etrier is more than a hotel ... A place filled with charme and tradition One of the oldest hotel in the resort, built in 1963, the Etrier has been beautifully renovated keeping its unique open spaces offering its guests an amazing view on the Valaisanne Alps. You will be welcomed in a space where everything tells a story, each stone, wooden board and object. It is in this exceptional place that the art of Welcoming has been put together to seduce you. Children are kings in dedicated spaces within the hotel.
