Hotel Irma

I went on a school trip just this last week. I looked at the reviews before I arrived and to think the reality was worse is an understatement. To start, the rooms were adequate at best, the bathroom was very small and a bidet was in there which was unnecessary. To continue with the room, after our rooms were cleaned, we arrived back to find our belongings tampered with and moved from their original places. The manager was very rarely in the hotel and for a location that is so strict on rules, cleaning and behaviour, when something went wrong the manager was nowhere to be found. The food was the biggest problem. we had tiny portions that did not fill us, one night we were served chicken and it was genuinely pink. The potatoes were  barely edible. Some of the waiting staff were very accommodating and kind, but some nights if we complained about the food, we received judgy looks, attitude and rudeness. Another point: The cleanliness of the hotel was shocking. I was sitting at the same table for breakfast and dinner for the week and a stain that was made on the first night was there until we left. The rooms were not cleaned, only brushed under the beds. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel simply because the stay was not enjoyable.
