This Is not really a hotel. More of a bed and breakfast. No sitting area outwith the bedroom.  Limited breakfast with no other meals available. No Bar. Troublesome about car parking with a brash unhelpful  host. We had booked a 7 night stay which we payed for, but unfortunately due to a car breakdown were delayed and only actually stayed 2 nights. We did want to extend for additional 2 nights, but didn't, after being told we would have to wait to find out if someone else booked the room. The host then offered it to us the following day. Just not a nice atmosphere or attitude.  Certainly won't stay there again.

Not in Keeping with the wonderful Austrian hospitality.

Actually, me and my wife did not manage to book a room in this hotel as a very arrogant owner insolently dropped a phone receiver while I was talking to her, trying to collect hotel's bank account details to make a money transfer to book a room. I have never encountered such bad manners in hospitality business in Austria before. When I wrote an email to Ms Magdalena to ask again for it, she did not even bother to reply to my mail !
This sets a new and unseen before 'standard of customer service' and treating customers in Mayrhofen.
Unprecedented arrogance. Apparently, my observation is quite consistent with many other negative comments about this Lady.
