Hotel Sonne - Andermatt

Andermatt

Spent 4 days in this lovely hotel with half pension.   It was centrally located in a quiet part of this classic Swiss town.   The staff was friendly, the rooms very clean and included a convenient ski room with benches for putting on boots.   Breakfast was excellent with fresh bread, rolls and croissants.   Excellent choice of meats, cheeses, jams, fresh butter, yogurt and fresh fruit.    Excellent fresh eggs could be made in an egg cooker.   And the evening meals were also delicious and generous in portions.   We enjoyed all the meals which included fresh salad, soup, a main dish with vegetables and a yummy homemade dessert.   We all truly enjoyed our experience.   One of our friends had never been to Switzerland - and Hotel zur Sonne was an excellent introduction!

A dream hotel for ski vacation

Sonne Andermatt is an adorable local hotel with clean, comfortable rooms. The hotel has a restaurant on site for guests to enjoy dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed our overnight  stay.
