Enjoyed a week here. Hotel clean with comfy beds and great variety of options at breakfast for which you are allocated your own table. Location was perfect - shops, restaurants, ferries and buses within a few minutes walk. Hosts were welcoming and helpful. Small bar on the terrace to use after a day's sightseeing. The only downside was the size of our balcony in Room 110 which was at the back of the hotel. It was a single one with only room for one chair and a small table. I would definitely recommend this small hotel  which offers so much at a very reasonable price.

Great base from which to visit Lake Garda towns.

The biggest thanks to Giovanni, Laura, the lovely Luca, and all the housekeeping and kitchen staff. You make us so welcome, and feel like family.
A simple hotel, that is kept so clean, has everything in the room you need, and in the most perfect place in Bardolino, for restaurants, bars, and the ferry port.
This was our second visit to this charming hotel, and our stay was as wonderful as our 1st. We love the simplicity, and homely atmosphere. Well done to all at Taormina.

What a fabulous family run hotel! When in Italy we always like to use small family run hotels as it adds to our  whole experience. This is such a great place, perfectly situated 2-3 minutes from everything yet on a quiet residential street. Laura and Giovanni have a wonderful place here with fabulous staff - shout out to the amazing Ana who seemed to be there all the time and able to do anything! The room was very clean and comfortable with effective air con in the stifling heat we had the week we were there. Breakfast was a very good continental selection, regularly replenished with optional  eggs cooked how you want at a small extra cost. All in all a super place to stay in an excellent location in the wonderful town ofBardolino.

Lovely holiday in beautiful bardolino . Lovely family run hotel situated in the very centre of bars, restaurants and nightlife . Very near bus centre and ferry terminal so convenient for trips to other villages and towns on the lake . Highly recommend.

This is a small family-run hotel with very helpful and friendly staff who cannot do enough for you.
We had a corner room (204) on the second floor. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift, so if you have mobility issues this may not be the best choice for you.  For most people, it's not a problem.

This is a very cute looking hotel: well looked after outside and in: with steps up to the entrance surrounded by the heavenly smelling jasmine trailing around you, it feels homely and welcoming every time you enter.

The corner rooms have 2 balconies, other rooms have one.  One of the downsides to this hotel is the size of the balcony - a very tight fit for 2 chairs and a small coffee table.  We got a corner room because I emailed the hotel and asked nicely!

The rooms and bathrooms were spotless on arrival, and cleaned every day to the same high standard. Wardrobe and cupboard space is ample, and there is also a desk and chair in the room.  The mattress was very comfortable, and there was air conditioning if it was too warm. Full window shutters kept the room dark at night.

The old town is less than a minute walk away, the lake and ferry port is about 3 minutes walk away, and the bus station is a couple of minute's walk away - hence my comment about this hotel being in the best location. There is parking underneath the hotel if you arrive by car.
The view is mostly of other apartment blocks or a large tree - unfortunately it doesn't overlook the lake: but then it is in a side street, a more residential area, so it is quieter than hotels on the lake or in the town.

The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful about the whole of Lake Garda, and will advise you well about travelling around - the best ways (ferry or bus or car), best times and best places to visit.

Breakfast: very simple continental, but adequate.  Because this is only a small hotel, you cannot expect an extensive offering, but there are meats, cheeses, salad, bread, pastries, fruit salad, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, toast, fruit juice, coffee, tea.  Enough to keep you going until you stop for lunch! You can eat in the dining room or in the patio area outside.
They also serve a variety of snacks that can be ordered from the bar. The bar is open until 11pm every night.

There is a small lounge area by reception, and there are plenty of tables and chairs in the patio area; several nights we came back here for a drink at the end of the evening.

This is a lovely hotel to base yourself in if you wish to explore the lake, whether by car, ferry, or bus - you are close to all.

For us, there were many upsides - the friendliness and helpfulness of  the owners and staff, the room itself, and the location.  The downsides for us were that we would have preferred a bigger balcony, with room for sunloungers; and/or a garden area, to sit and chill in after a day of walking around the lake.  But I'm being picky - I knew that this hotel didn't have these facilities when I booked so I'm not complaining!

I highly recommend this hotel if you want a friendly and welcoming place to stay in Lake Garda.  There are many people who return to this hotel year after year, which tells you all you need to know!

Lovely family-run hotel in a perfect location.

We are situated 100m from the entrance to the old city of Bardolino, one of the pearls on the banks of Lake Garda where you will find excellent restaurants, boutiques, wonderful art galleries and shops of every type. A privileged position in a central but peaceful area just 200 metres from the banks of the lake and only a couple of metres from the bus stops. The hotel is a short distance from the main road which takes you in all directions. There are 21 bedrooms all of which have: Balcony, Shower, Private toilet facilities, Television, Safe, Air conditioning, Telephone and Free Wi-Fi.
