Due to dire weather forecast and arriving by bicycle we moved our stay forward one day at very short notice. Thanks to excellent receptionist we were able to check in early. Would have been a bit easier if they had responded to Booking.com request.
Room was smallish but comfortable with view of mountains.
Good quiet night due to location. 
Restaurant food was best we had had for 2 weeks travelling with excellent service.

We enjoyed staying here second time as good as first time...super comfortable room (we asked for same room as last time and they gave it to us)... a corner room with a deck and a view in 2 directions...modern and very nice bathroom too. But we especially enjoyed the food, both the breakfast buffet and the a la carte dinner served in the bar area. Staff were very nice and helpful. Also there is a huge outdoor area with lounge chairs and chair pads to sit out there in the sun and totally enjoy the views in all directions! This is a very special setting for morning and sunset photos and only 20 minutes from Passo Gaiu if you want to go up there for sunset photos ...and for proximity to Cortina lifts et al.

Another great experience staying here second time!

San Carlos, California

We stayed here several nights during a recent hiking trip in the Dolomites. Staff was friendly and efficient. Our room was a decent size, with a small entryway that was perfect for leaving our bags and hiking gear, a decent-sized bedroom, and a moderate-sized bathroom with a tub. The food was okay, breakfasts being the better meal, while dinners (on the set menu plan) were so-so, particularly for our vegetarian. As others have mentioned, the soundproofing is light and you can hear a lot of what’s going on in other rooms, though admittedly, this is something it shares in common with many hotels. More important to me, the bathroom, most notably the shower, was a bit of a challenge to use. The tub itself was fairly tall, making it a bit of a challenge getting in and out (more so out when you’re standing on wet feet in a tight space). The water pressure would also drop to barely a trickle at times while the temperature would vary from cold to scalding. This would vary by time of day so it was likely in response to usage, but I can’t tell when others are showering in the hotel, and I shouldn’t have to worry about it. Furthermore, there was construction going on while we were there (looks like they’re expanding), which meant that when we returned from our hikes and we wanted to lie down for a few minutes, it was near impossible. They probably should have spent some of the new-construction money on updates to the rest of the hotel.
