A charming traditional Austrian family run  hotel with contemporary fitted bedrooms and bathrooms. Situated close to the slopes with beautiful mountains views. The food is excellent.

A cosy hotel in a beautiful location with fab food

When in Obergurgl, my friends and I often meet for a lunchtime drink on the lovely terrace at this hotel. It has beautiful views and is sunny. Always before we have had friendly service and a nice experience. This week 3 of us ordered a drink from an older gentleman. When we asked to pay separately with credit cards he got annoyed and stormed off for about 15 mins. A friend had cash and said she would pay for me and the other friend found enough change. When the waiter came back he seemed even more annoyed about this and when my friend gave him a 20E note to pay 8.80 he gave her a 10E note and a nasty stare to indicate he had taken 1.20 for himself. 
We were very shocked at this behaviour and level of aggression. We have no idea why we were treated like this and have never encountered anything like it in the area Very sad as this was a favourite place.

Fantastic family run hotel. Close to ski lifts and discount at the hire shop right outside. 

Breakfast was the best we have ever had. A huge variety of fresh fruit. A juicer for fresh juice and fresh ginger shots available every morning. 

Great friendly staff at meal times. 

Rooms are very clean and the spa area was lovely.
