Friendly staff  Good food  and clean     rooms not far to walk to the the ski slopes and restaurants. I loved the sauna steam room and a swim after a day out on the ski slope. I had 
one of the best back and leg massages so relaxing. 



Snowboarding 

This was our last holiday as a family & our 1st time in Bulgaria. On arrival staff were helpful. Bathroom was mouldy & shower door missing so water went all over the floor. Towels were frayed, blood stains on the covers. The air conditioner broke during the night & we had a river of water flowing down the wall & across the floor. It took quite a while for staff to understand what we were trying to explain to them. We were told that there was a gym which was not what I would call it. Pool area was a health & safety risk with wires to the paddling pool across the floor. Children’s park that was advertised had 1 slide. Children’s chairs broken. Cushions on the sun loungers were filthy. 
Food was fine to begin with but very repetitive & as it got busier there was no room in the dining area. 
Snacks were served during the day but you had to be quick off the mark as other guests did not have any manners & would fill their plates high until everything was gone. By the time staff brought more snacks the other guests would be finished & push back in again- staff weren’t interested when this was reported. 
The list goes on with parts of the floor broken to skirtings broken. Our complaint wasn’t taken seriously as we got told that we should of detailed all of this on the review form when we checked out which we weren’t given  I had even contacted my tour operators on the 2nd day of the holiday. The Balkan rep who I finally managed to get hold of explained some of out concerns but as they spoke swiftly in their own language I did not knew what was said. I have over 70 photos of what was wrong with the holiday. Some staff were friendly especially the lady who makes the pancakes in the morning.

Known as Hotel villa Mare

We found the Iglika to be ok on the whole! The hotel is clean, the rooms are comfortable with comfy beds which is all you need from your room. The baths aren’t sealed to the walls so when showering the water runs down the wall, under the bath and into the wetroom drain. Add that to the slippery floor tiles and you’ve got  to be careful not to slip over. 
The food is ok, but we ended up going out twice as it wasn’t to our taste but thats my opinion more than anything. Like every other review on here the food is always luke warm at best. 
Not having a kettle in the room was a surprise and a disappointment but again that won’t be important to everybody. 
Would I stay there again? Probably not but would I have enjoyed my holiday more if I’d paid a lot more money to stay in one of the big hotels? Definitely not........

We went to sunny beach in July last year and found an outside bar called iglika the bar staff are friendly and efficient and it gets really busy as it is cheap for drinks that said it doesn't mean they welch on quality this is a great little place whether you go during the day or of a night time and I would recommend it to anyone

Having read all the bad reviews before our trip we were pleasantly surprised... what was everyone complaining about ? We loved the food and found the staff very helpful.  Yes the bedrooms are basic but we couldn't expect anything else for the price we had paid - plenty of hot water and clean towels daily. We would definitley return. Ski wiz
