We understand how frustrating it must have been to arrive expecting a mountain view, only to find yourself in a room that didn’t meet those expectations—especially after confirming this detail by phone. We also regret the way the room change request was handled, and that you felt misled about availability. This is certainly not the experience we aim to provide, nor the level of transparency our guests deserve.

Late arrivals should not result in being assigned less desirable rooms, and we are reviewing this situation closely with the on-site team to ensure our allocation process is fair and more clearly communicated in the future. I booked Residence Les Sentiers Tueda but found when I arrived it is actually called Le Pralin.  Pierre & Vacances have obviously decided to use a different name for the Residence given the reviews on Le Pralin!

I called the property direct before booking and was told every room had a view of the mountains.  After booking, I pre-arranged to arrive late with my son at c10.30pm, I would not recommend this as you will be allocated the worst room!  I opened the curtains of my apartment (room 211) to find no mountain view just a view of a pile of rocks and the doors to the apartments which did have a view! 

I asked to move rooms the next morning and was immediately told no more were available.  I complained again that evening and was eventually offered an apartment which was allocated to someone else (so telling me there were no other apartments wasn't true!) and was then told if I took it the people to whom it was allocated would have to take Room 211!  My son decided it was too much hassle to move and it wasn't fair on the people arriving to take their room.  The reception obviously have a tactic of giving guests who arrive late the worst apartment knowing that once you've slept a night and unpacked its to much hassle.  Despite the sunny weather for the whole of our stay we were in the shade, looking at rocks and doors with no privacy.

P&V gave a small refund but not enough, my trust in this company which we have used many times over the years is broken.
