Disappointing stay. The residence is in a very good location close to the lifts and slopes however the facilities are not up to standard. While the apartments are in a fantastic location with easy access to the lifts and resort amenities, given that we paid almost €3,200 for our stay, we do not feel that the accommodation represented good value for money.

It was not made clear that the residence only provide a starter pack of toilet roll, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid. In addition, there was no soap or towel rail in the separate toilet, meaning that if the main bathroom was occupied, we had to use the kitchen sink to wash our hands, not very hygienic. 

The kitchen was also inadequately equipped. There were no scissors, no saucepan lids, and no sieve. The colander provided was too large for draining smaller items such as rice, making food preparation unnecessarily difficult.

There was also no safe in the apartment for passports and valuables, which again is not something we would expect in a 4-star property.

The spa facilities were advertised as calm and relaxing; however, in reality, there were numerous children below the stated age limit using the jacuzzi and jumping into the pool. The jacuzzi was not warm enough to be relaxing. The spa toilets had no toilet paper whatsoever, which is clearly unhygienic, and the showers alternated constantly between hot and cold. Furthermore, none of the shampoo dispensers were filled. This meant returning to our room wet and cold to shower there instead. Toiletries and toilet paper in the spa area should be monitored regularly throughout the day, but this did not appear to be happening. Having disputed the above issues with management the response has been very disappointing. Trying to excuse the spa issues because it was a very busy week of the year is not acceptable. The management would have been aware that the residence was full and should have staffed these areas effectively. 

Management have taken a long time to respond to my comments and whilst acknowledging that they need to do better and address the issues raised, offered no gesture to keep me happy. All they did was quote French residence procedures which I really wasn’t interested in. Totally overpriced residence for the level of service and facilities provided.
