Flachau is a lively town with lots of bars and restaurants to explore and is the perfect pick for families and mixed groups.
The resort gives you easy access to the vast Snow Space Salzburg Ski area. Set amongst forests and alpine meadows, the local terrain is great for beginners, however the vast majority of runs are rated red, making it paradise for mile hungry intermediates. If you are after even more runs, then Flachau is also part of the Salzburger Sportwelt ski area, giving you even more to explore.
