La Maison Saxe is an absolute delight — warm, welcoming, and full of character. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding, with owners who were genuinely friendly and attentive.

The room was cosy, spotlessly clean, and had all the charm you’d expect from a traditional Alpine stay, yet with modern comforts that made it feel extra special. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh and local options to set you up for the day.

The location is perfect too — tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, but only a short stroll into the centre of Courmayeur.

Everything about our stay felt relaxed and cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend La Maison Saxe to anyone visiting the area — it’s a real gem.

Fantastic one night stay on our Tour du Mont Blanc. Beautiful, cosy hotel, with tasteful decor, lovely rooms, oozing character from every nook and cranny. 
The staff were fantastic. Big shout out for Raphael, who gave us the biggest welcome possible. Just what was needed after a long and hot day hiking the TMB. He was an absolute life saver. What a wonderful human being. Thank you Raphael. You will never know how much that meant to my wife and I.
