Stubai Glacier

We booked two rooms, one for a child and requested adjoining rooms at time of booking. On arrival they offered rooms on different floors and were very reluctant to sort it out. 
The rooms are OK, spacious and nice balcony but the beds are terrible with old foam mattresses. There is no tea/coffee facility in the room, but that is probably because they make a fortune from coffee in their bar, one black americano costs €5.80
We were told we would have the same table for breakfast every day but every morning there were two seperate tables for two with our names and no-one interested in sorting it out. 
Decent breakfast, nice pool but let down by poor customer service and old furniture.

not so Happy

A large group (40+) stayed for three nights. The food was delicious and the staff quite friendly. The rooms were a nice size. If you are in town to ski, it's about 30 minutes drive to the glacier. Plenty of hiking and other adventure opportunities, including a flugschule in the next town over. The hotel also had a large ski room, an outdoor pool, spa/sauna, piano, and restaurant/bar. Overall, a nice stay. 

Nice little lodge with great food

Hotel is clean and comfortable, staff so helpful and great food different every night and buffet style breakfast, the spa area fantastic heated pool steam sauna and hot and cold leg pool, towels and shampoo supplied, all in all a wonderful find.
