The location of the place next to the lifts and on the Vaujany hillside was good.
We had 3 rooms and the 4* for UK guests was a little different to our expectations. I didn't check in myself, my group were given towels and bed sheets in plastic bags at reception to dress the beds ourselves. There was also a clause to fully clean the apartment on departure. Upon checkout you need to strip the bedding and towels and return to reception. If this is normal, then this is not negative, just unexpected.

The room had kitchenette with appliances, two showers, one separate toilet, basic but ample for the purpose. The cleanliness I guess would be at the level of the previous guest so might be pot luck!

The facilities of common room with pool table and few amusement machines was good (not used by us) the pool , sauna and steam room (not working on our stay) was decent enough. You needed to use your room towels and it was not manned.

Parking is on the road outside, a little steep pathways but for a alpine location its expected.

More hands on than expected

We had planned a trip doing Christmas 2024 and invited my wife's parents to celibrate X-mas with us in Vaujany. Payed almost 3000 eur for a week and already on day one after arrival we contacted the reception. Broken chairs in the flat. Missing stuff in the kitchen and most of all NO HOT WATER. Answer was that they knew but would find a solution.......  After contacting them daily for 3 days we tried via the agent Booking.com.  Now 10 days later they returned back and said sorry. !!!!!!! What the ...

Short. This is a hotel with water damage in the hall. Water damage in the apartments. 
dirty rooms. no hot water. hallways with urin, and blood.  Maybe a place to go when you are teen with 20 other teens. but diffidently not with family !!!
Disgusting place. no service or help what so ever. and a lot of broken stuff all over the place. And for that pricing I would call it a hustle/scam !

Madame Vacances - Les Épinettes. STAY AWAY if you prefer clean rooms, hot water and general just service.
