The hotel is very clean. The owners, Drago and Mina, are very nice and hospitable. The food is good. The taverna in the basement is a hidden gem where we relaxed every evening. We had a very good time and enjoyed the pool and spa area. It is well located, close to the lift- with a shuttle available.

Very clean and friendly

The Iceberg hotel is a fantastic choice for any family. We stayed for a week over new year in one of the family Mansard rooms that offered two separate bedrooms giving much needed space.
The hotel team are professional whilst friendly and truly do want to ensure your needs are met and no request is too much for them.
We enjoyed the breakfasts each day. Breakfast options rotate each day to provide variety and there is always cereals, cakes, and fruit as well as coffee, tea and other hot drinks available.
We also very much appreciated the hotels pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room after each days skiing - the hotel provides bath robes but we would recommend bringing flip flops or other suitable footwear.
There’s also a playroom for kids and adults alike to enjoy a game of table tennis, table football or pool.
The hotel also offers a traditional Bulgarian taverna restaurant in the evenings and we were pleasantly surprised how tasty and comfortable that experience was - special note to the Greek waiter that made as feel so very much at home.
The hotel is a little walk from the town. I would suggest more like 15-20 mins to the gondola. However the hotel offers a free shuttle service which we used regularly and was always on time.
On our last morning we needed to depart before breakfast and get again the hotel manager was very accommodating and put together a packed breakfast for us.

I hope one day I will visit Bansko again and without doubt we will book this hotel.

To be honest , I randomly reserved Iceberg hotel cause it was the cheapest offer. I am so happy I did. My whole experience was perfect! The lady at the reception was very kind and thoughtful! My room was very clean and warm. Spa zone was amazing . Everything worked properly in there and I wish I did not have to leave. Dinner and breakfast was very delicious!! They had a ski garderob available so my ski did not have to spend the night in the car. Hotel deserves more stars in my opinion! Keep up the great work , guys!!! Can’t wait to visit once again!
