Stayed at the Jezero hotel for 4 nights while exploring Bohinj area.  Traditional style hotel with good facilities, good sized rooms and balcony with view overlooking the lake.  Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice and efficient service.

Sadly outdated hotel by Lake Bohinj offers poor value for money, even though the location is great. The fitness room was one outdated all-in-one machine, a threadmill and a ping-pong table, while the pool certainly need refurbishment. The quality of the breakfast buffet was underwhelming and the coffee some of the worst I've tasted.

Superb location and a nice room but what is it with Slovenians over a certain age? Did they miss out on hospitality school? They are all so surly. Room could do with tea/coffee making facilities. Nice balcony with view towards lake. 

Tried out the pool and again staff were surly. I had to sign for towels. 

Bike room was in the ski room in the basement down a short ramp. 

One last thing - the receptionist didn’t seem to understand that I wanted to check in and was
More bothered about not having my luggage (which I had on my back) and confusion resulted in her not returning my passport. This really isn’t good enough and caused undue concern when I realised it was missing.

Distance from ski resorts: Vogel 4,5 km. Transportation to ski slopes provided by ski bus.
