A no frills 3 star hotel. It was very clean and the room was serviced every day. We had room 204 second floor with a reliable lift. The lake view and balcony twin room was pleasantly situated with a kettle and fridge. The plugs were 3 pin old type but the adapter in the room was useful as it enabled us to use our own plugs. The walk in shower was great as being of limited mobility I can't use a bath.  Shower gel was provided also soap and cups. No snacks or extras. The room was spacious enough and we were not bothered by any noise. The road at the back of the hotel was a bit noisy but we were on the front. Breakfast was fine and there is a limited bar but no restaurant. There are numerous bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. I would happily stay there again. If you want a pool and spa facilities you would need to look elsewhere. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet clean and efficient hotel.

Great holiday in Garda

Arrived late evening , Mondu was on reception he was really helpful and welcoming.Room was huge, very clean but a bit dated, beds comfy.Old fashioned shutters which kept room cool.Rooms cleaned daily.Breakfast was buffet style with both cold and some hot options.Hotel is positioned well for everything. No swimming pool but the sister hotel has one and is less than a ten minute walk so you can use it. Value for money in every restaurant, be aware portions are huge .We really enjoyed our holiday and have already booked to go back next year ; same hotel , everything!!

Relax and breath ,Lake Garda is well worth a visit it

A lovely family run  lakeside hotel, friendly staff with a special mention to Raymondo in the breakfast room.
4* for breakfast selection
5* for cleanliness, spotlessly clean.
5* for location
A good base to be able to explore the wonders of Lake Garda, Venice and Verona.
A perfect lakeside location with bars and restaurants straight outside the hotel, 5 mins to the bus station, 3 mins to a supermarket and 5 mins to lakeside bathing area.
However, the reason for the low star rating is down to the desperate need for a refurb.
We paid extra for a superior lake view double room, unfortunately this turned out to be far from superior, the decor is dull and dreary but worse than that the bathroom just had a bath with a shower head tap so anyone with even slight mobility problems would find it hard to step in and out of the very deep bath and for those not keen on a bath, trying to have a shower was an  ordeal, made worse by having to mop the floor afterwards due to the absence of a shower curtain. There's lots of cracked tiles and bathroom fittings, in no way does that spell superior! 
This room also had a terrace rather than a balcony and lacked any privacy if you wanted the door open. Other guests were making use of the dedicated outside furniture straight outside that room which at times was quite awkward. 
We had specified when we booked that we wanted a balcony and not a terrace but that information seems not to have been stipulated, not sure if that was down to our travel agents though, as when I requested a change to a balcony room the hotel couldn't or wouldn't accommodate because it wasnt on the paperwork. 
Can't comment on any of the other rooms but would definitely not recommend the superior room.

Its a real shame because this hotel could be a charming little gem with some TLC.
