A little gem nestled in the wonderful lake garda, is the hotel villa Milano. Family run business, headed up by the charming and lovely signor Peiro. 

The vibe of the hotel is family, making strangers feel like family. Simone, such a character. Ivan, Lucia, silvana and everyone who made the whole experience so memorable. The entertainment, karaoke, musical chairs, Wii bowling and peiro with his singing and musical instruments so so good 🙂 there is a lady kay who stays for 12 weeks of the season and she sings for the guests too. The food is amazing, you pick what you want each night for the next days food (would say the portion size for ne was a little small but not a issue) 

The hotel use to be a paper mill and there wheel from that time is still there. 

The rooms are good, comfy bed, own blankets on our double bed was a nice touch. Lovely bathroom. Reading some reviews about the state of the hotel, rooms, personally, not bothered. It was clean and tidy and thata good enough for me 🙂

We went with shearings and every night when we got drinks it was out on a tab, you can pay before you go otherwise it will be at the end of your stay. Just be careful. Lovely hotel, brilliant location and amazing people. Highly recommend 🙂

Brilliant family run hotel 🙂

70s traditional hotel that needs a thorough reset in decor - and unsure why it is still on the books for Shearings/ leger holidays or TUI for that matter - this run down old hotel is 3 star but should be changed to no star - think along "Fawlty Towers" where family run the hotel but has had no customer service or hotel training that can be seen .. whilst the hotel was reasonably clean , please do not look up to the ceiling where lights are rusty and full of dust and the other restaurant ceiling full of webs. The material of curtains etc was added here there an everywhere whilst the canopy needs a good clean along with the ruched curtains in the restaurant - the family was rude to me and my friend until I finally said to them when they kept just coming up to our table and ignoring us - finally we got some smiles and polite hello's . The food you have to preorder the day before and whilst most food was ok , some food come out very dry and rubbery - fish was dry with dried slices of orange on and the omelette was disgusting - yet the family feel so proud of their hotel - the room was very small for a twin room and we paid extra for a balcony which was like a run down concrete balcony on a council estate - but not only that we were along the main road so it was noisy - the decor in the bedroom was bright yellow with nothing matching on the bed - burgundy valance and pink bed sheet and a quilt that looked like it needed to be covered with a fresh one - the only blessing was the toilet and shower room which was in the real world of 2025 .. albeit a bit small it luxurious compared to the rest of the place - entertainment was diabolical - bowling on Wii , karaoke and then pass the parcel for adults with a bouncy dice - some music on gala night and yet all of these was completed by the hotel manager - honestly you couldn't make it up - and the gala night was advertised with a picture of a man sawing his leg off ( what sort of picture was that ) - I was depressed by the 4 or 5th night as I didn't even want to be in my room or the restaurant .. I have photos to prove all this and I must admit I couldn't wait to go home - I looked at other 3 stars hotel and they were not like this so Shearings and TUI should start to take their custom elsewhere .. albeit still on the brochures - the family cannot carry the disappointment of most people in this hotel - and most customers are kind enough to say the family work hard and it's not too bad .. but clearly this needs to be looked at by the tour operators  
This hotel contributed solely to my disappointment in my holiday as this is not what I paid for and it didn't come cheap - I can get a really nice 5 star hotel all inclusive for less money so this is and was a big let down - I work hard to save for my holidays and they don't come easily , I'd waited for Italy lake Garda experience for 2 years and lake Garda didn't disappoint me , the location of the hotel is good but that's the only thing that it's got going for it - time for the hotel family to sell up and retire - time for someone else to revamp the whole hotel to a condition that is not 70s and also to not use the excuse that a tired hotel is 70s traditional when it clearly isn't fit for purpose -
To add more - the lifts are ancient / the stairwell carpet, the fire doors ( don't know if they worked ) the mirror and the all the settees and sitting area need to be replaced in the reception area rather quickly before it would come up to standard and lastly the key ring that weighed a ton - no key card - had two keys on but could only use one so unsure why they even had 2 keys on - don't listen to the advertising and certainly don't believe the photos in the brochure - - so finally I wished to say it spoilt my holiday in Italy - which is sad really bevause Italy was beautiful and I suppose I had an experience to remember albeit a comical one

What a gem of a hotel. Firstly the basics. 2 minutes from the lake front, 7 minutes from the ferry point , 1 minute from bus stop. Comfortable beds, great food. Lots of choice at breakfast; meats, cheeses, vegetables, cereals, breads, cooked and croissants that are kept warm. Typical Italian dinner, salad bar, pasta / soup course, main meal, dessert. 
What really sets this hotel apart is the staff. Family run and obviously they enjoy their jobs and have lots of fun. Everyone greeted us when they saw us and did all they could to make us comfortable and have a good time. Some entertainment offered and a special gala meal once a week. Many people return here year after year and it's plain to see why.

A real gem.

Tui customers never  seem a rep. We were give a room so small like a students room. Shower far too small. Disappointed the European guests arrogantly tool o er the rest and pool areas, but is that not typical and French and Germany guests on holidays I. Europe. How ever most amazing staff friendly kind even the cleaners for the room. Food amazing restaurant staff so nice.The manager and family so nice ran entertainment every night. Easy access to the bus station which we used. We have been to the area before and was shocked how busy the lake side was especially at night. Speaking to regular British and Irish quests book your hotel yourself and flights to Verona.
