13 of us from Scotland, England and Sweden had a great week just after new year with perfect snow. Garry and Gillian the hosts were first class responding promptly to any requests and even providing a surprise birthday cake on the last night in the shape of a mountain with lots of local features on it! They went out of their way to make everyone feel at home.
Throughout the week the menus were varied and satisfying. The wines were carefully chosen to accompany the dishes. The afternoon teas were a welcome sight on arrival back from a full day skiing. 
Our room was one of the biggest with a wonderful view - others were smaller but no one was spending much time in the rooms because the social space downstairs was so comfortable and inviting. The hot tub is a great asset and it’s wonderful to sit outside on a snowy day in the tub - albeit wearing woolly hats to keep the head warm!
Ski equipment is delivered to the chalet and and fitted there. The free ski bus stops just across the road and takes skiers to either La Rosiere Maison du ski or Les. Eucherts. The scenery and views are spectacular. I’d highly recommend a stay there.

The rooms were small but the double bed was very comfortable, ensuite shower room was toasty warm.  We had the balcony room, which had unbelievable views of the mountains and you could sit out in the sun enjoying a glass of wine with the snow all around you.

The open plan feel to the chalet downstairs gave you a good feeling of space, comfy sofas dotted about and particularly in front of the open fire, which on occasion smoked the room out if it was windy outside.  

Sky tv so we didn't miss the rugby in the evening before dinner.  The food was very good considering the staff were so young, they provided lovely tasty meals every night and there was plenty of it.  Unlimited beer and wine, with special wines for dinner.  Only criticism would be on the chalet staffs day off, breakfast was bread and cereal, which we thought was a bit mean, there should have been meats, cheese, bread, croissants etc.

Skis were delivered and fitted at the chalet, it was so nice not to have to go and ski hire on your first day, instead we all got up and went straight out to the slopes.

Great free bus service around La Rosiere and over to the next resort, if you wanted a change of scenery, also a lovely woodland walk to the other resort, which was flood lit at night and had some sledging runs for kids, if you happened to have brought them with you.

I am not a great skier, greens, blues and the occasional red for me, but there was plenty to be had and if the weather was not fine in La Rosiere you also had the option of skiing over to Italy to find some blue skies.  There appeared to be enough good skiing to satisfy the best skier in our group and for the aching muscles a soak in the hot tub at the end of the day.

All in all had a fabulous time and would definitely recommend the chalet and resort, and will always have those fabulous views to think back on and smile.

Fabulous skiing holiday

An amazing chalet, really spacious downstairs, we never felt on top of one another. Added bonus of a bar for us to congregate around, a roaring fire, a hot tub and table football, we really felt spoilt! John was an an amazing chef, dishing up superb food and Katie and Tracey were great hosts, thanks to them and Jackson and Dan for sorting out all the ski tech and the whole team at Morealps for an amazing holiday. To top it off, the snow was the best I've seen for many years,2 foot on Sunday and another foot on Wednesday, we couldn't have asked for a better week. Thanks again.

Brilliant holiday!

Chalet Bergerie is a fabulous place to stay in a great ski resort. Our welcome was warm and gave a real home from home feel....the bedroom was clean and comfortable, food delicious and service excellent. Ski-tech service was knowledgeable and really helpful. Thank you Hannah,Charlie, Jim, Danny and Mat for making our holiday so enjoyable. It's location  Is ideal for exploring all of La Rosiere, close to a ski bus stop if you are too late for the brilliant and efficient chalet mini bus. The huge communal area in the chalet is great for chilling and yet being part of all that is going on. Although we didn't use it the chalet hot-tub was highly recommended by other chalet guests.

Stayed at Chalet la Bergerie from 14th - 21st December 2014. It should be noted that due to no fault of anybody's, the slopes at La Rosiere were not open for until the penultimate day of our stay.  Because of this, the holiday could have been a bit of a let down.  Thankfully, this was not the case. Thanks to the excellent staff at the Snowcrazy, they were willing to drive us an hour a day to Val D'Isere for the small price of us agreeing to chip in for a day pass for the drivers (who were always lovely people).  This enabled us to ski everyday, when at the start of the week that seemed impossible. The Chalet itself was beautiful, warm, and spacious with a superb range and quality of food throughout the week. In addition to this, there is the quite stunning hot tub with views right across the valley to Les Arc; the perfect way to chill out after a tough day on the slopes.  The staff were absolutely fantastic, achieving the right blend between becoming our friends but always always always being there to help out. I must also pass on my compliments to Adam and all the staff at Bar La Roz who create an excellent atmosphere in the local bar (also run by Snowcrazy), offering a variety of entertainment on most nights; quiz, beerpong, bar games, music and some quite fantastic cocktails (ask Adam to make his Whiskey Old Fashioned - stunning). I can't be more complementary about the holiday, from Charlie and Hannah (chalet hosts) to Danny (main driver) and all those over at Bar La Roz, it was fantastic.
