Excellent service and excellent staff, they were very helpful and were very cordial and looked after all my needs. They gave correct instructions , considering it was New Year’s Day the staff were very very good. The housekeeping person was very prompt and did a thorough job on the cleaning making sure that i was not disturbed if i was in the room. Jennifer the receptionist was very warm and welcoming and made sure that i was looked after. The car and driver (Jose) was very forthcoming and ready to help with everything. Over all it was a brilliant experience.

The hotel was really excellent. The room was very clean, well organized, and comfortable. The heating system was great, which made a big difference.
A very nice touch: the hotel gave me CHF 30 credit per day to use inside the hotel (restaurants, bar, etc.). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar is also lovely, and the bartenders were amazing — they made delicious cocktails. Highly recommended.

We stayed for one night in a room with balcony (not a great view but then again just a standard double).  Whoever designed this hotel and particulary our room, deserves a medal. It was one of the best planned and designed hotel rooms rooms I have ever visited and I've been to hundreds including 5 star,  The decor was beautiful, cosy and welcoming.  The bed was comfortable. Tea, coffee and water in room.  Lighting bright or dim as required with sensor floor lighting at night in room and bathroom which was so helpful.  The bathroom was spacious, modern with walk in shower and great toiletries.  Everywhere spotless.
When we arrived the receptionist (who was extremelx friendly) had just taken some guests to their room so another very friendly young lady appeared from the bar area and offered us soft drinks while we waited a few minutes.  The public lounge area is beautiful with a central log fire which must look stunning and very inviting when lit during winter.  Even the inside of the lift is lovely as well as the staircase.  Breakfast was delicious with fruit (beautifully prepared), yoghurts, nuesli, cereals, cold cuts and cooked choice to order.  Strange that no fresh bread is offered, only bread rolls.   
Excellent location right in the village (there is a small supermarket next door), buses and trains max 2 minutes walk away.

We had a wonderful stay at The Mansard Hotel in Gstaad. The ambiance was warm and elegant, blending Alpine charm with modern comfort. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was beautifully designed, quiet, and offered stunning views.
