Just back from staying at residence le palme.
Apartments are very big and have everything you need for self catering. Myself and my family of 4 stayed in the ground floor 2 bedroom apartment and my brother and his family of 4 stayed in the apartment above which was also lake view with a balcony. 
These apartments are ideal for families with children as there is a secure gate at the front.
The apartments were lovely and clean and the host was very welcoming. There is parking on site and a pool which is a short walk away. 
The location is fab. Only a short walk into the lovely town.

On arrival the owner was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the 1st floor right side  apartment which had a balcony. It has an authentic feel (not modern but clean) and had everything we needed including towels, bedding and kitchen utensils etc and also very spacious. Privacy is also traditional outside shuttering which is more than adequate. Parking is in the grounds with remote gated access, Location is just perfect for access to the town an local restaurants and bars, with one quaint alfresco bar being almost on the doorstep, right on the lakeside.

Negatives;
TV signal was poor so no satellite TV (obviously a personal thing and maybe not so important to you)
A drain smell from the bathroom (we didnt complain as it was only occasional and we had a busy schedule, then forgot to mention on leaving).
Look out for extra charges outside of the booking. Cleaning per person for E.G. (is always confirmed on the booking conformation)

Overall would consider staying there again If visiting that area.

Great location and views

On arrival the owner was friendly and helpful about things to do, quick check in and check out and everything we needed.
The apartment was large and well maintained and excellent price for 2 adults and a baby.
Kitchen was fully stocked with all needed for cooking (except the food)all was new and useful. Kitchen held big fridge and freezer, ceramic stove, dishwasher and tons of cutlery. There was a nice dining room inside as well as a nice patio right outside.
Parking was right out the door and comfortable.
Town was close by about 8 minutes to walk there.
The shower facilities were cool with a jacuzzi and shower sprinklers however did not feel clean enough, some of the sprinklers had mold from not being used...

We asked for a baby crib which was happily added for free, however the crib was stored somewhere dank and smelled badly of mold so we couldnt use...

There were huge windows all looking outside where the other guests come in and out as well as the street outside. We had blinders but still, had to choose between privacy or daylight..not a big issue

Beds and pillows were not very comfortable.

All in all, highly recommend, excellent value for money and a really nice place.



Spacious and beautiful!

We booked the 2 studio apartments for 4 nights to attend a family wedding and the rooms were fantastic! The 2 studio apartments are accessed by 1 entrance so this was ideal for the 4 of us booking the 2 studio apartments. They were spacious, very modern, clean and had everything we needed to self cater.
The double beds were super comfy and we all slept very well. The air conditioning was brilliant. The kitchen had everything we needed and included a fridge freezer.
Both balconies had lake views. The host was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. He made us feel at home as soon as we arrived.
The bathrooms were also a good size,modern and well equipped with a hairdryer. previous reviews stated that the hot water runs out quickly, which is true but we found that if you left 30 mins/hour between each shower there was sufficient hot water. However, due to the hot temperature in Malcesine we preferred a cool shower anyway.

I can not complement these studios enough and will definitely be choosing this property again if I return to the area. 

The huge euro spar is an approx 10 walk from the property and has everything you could possibly need to self cater. The Oasi bar is a 1 min walk down the street, right on the lake and serves a large selection of lunch options like sandwiches, toasties, ice cream and coffee and a very large cocktail menu, all at very reasonable prices.

Fantastic studio apartments. Highly recommend

We stayed here for our 1st Wedding Anniversary in June and it was perfect.  

We had to check in at the other hotel which is approx 200 meters (3 minute straight walk) and the gentleman was so friendly.  Walked our bags to the room and spoke to us like we were old friends.  Told us her would be around the apartments every day to water the plants so if needed anything then to let him know.

We stayed in the top flop apartment which had a small balcony.  The apartment itself was very clean and spacious and the balcony had a lovely view over the lake with two sun loungers. Kitchenette décor is dated but suited the feel of the apartment and we were very pleased as wasn't sure we would like it based on the photos online but it was absolutely fine and has everything you would need for self catering.  

The large double bed is very comfortable and the room offers plenty of linen.

The apartment is in a great location, close enough to the center (about a 5 min walk) but far enough to enjoy the walk each day.  Bar Oasi (our favorite bar) is literally opposite the apartment which was so idea.

The only reason I couldn't give this a 5 star rating is because the hot water runs out very quick and my husband had to have a few cold showers.

Upon checkout, my husband went to walk to the other apartment to pay the bill but the owner was at our apartment watering the plants so instead took my husband to bar oasi for a beer to settle the bill.

Yet again another amazing time in Malcesine and cannot wait to go back.
