a review on Google was not enough right?
I knew that you wouldn't be satisfied only with that :)

So here I am repling you the second time, remebering to all that you stayed only 3 nights and that you took something like 4 working hours of mine today to reply to you :)

Since we are not Tripadviser customer anymore since 2017 but still online, I had also to find the old password in order to be able to reply to you :)
Took a while though because I had also to reset it.
Such a day, but I like it!

First of all, the Rafael apartment you stayed in is absolutely not promoted as traditional.
Here is the description you red on Airbnb with whom you also booked your stay (everybody can see it by themselfs if curious):
"The apartment is located at the ground floor of the Villa and boosts its own private external entrance. It is suitable for 2 people and formed by one living room with kitchen and separate bedroom/bathroom.

Decorated in bright colors, playful wall paintings and rustic furniture, this home’s summery and airy feeling is completed by the gentle sound of the nearby torrent which can be heard with open windows.

The flat is the twin of the neighboring apartment Tristan to which it can connect via an intercommunicating door"

Anywho, let's move on and let's talk about your points and booking, because other guests deserve to know both sides of the medal.
1) you didn't even know what you booked through Airbnb. 
Here is your text: "Buongiorno Rafael, i hope you are well. Thank you for your previous information.
I have just paid the final balance and we are looking forward to our trip (and some sunshine!) to Italy and to our stay in Villa Angelica. We noticed that the villa contains 7 apartments - are we able to choose which apartment we can stay in? If so, are these shown/named on the website?

Of course through Airbnb you know exactly what apartment you book :) 
I even told you personally on a messege back to you and linked also the Rafael apartment Airbnb page you booked.
In my opinion you should have looked more carefully at the pictures, because I'm trying very VERY hard to show exactly what guests will see for real (and use) on arrival.

2) The villa dates back to 1620 and it is NOT the modern place you where looking for. 
Do you remember you told me yourself that you expected something more modern?
The villa and its 5000m2 century old park  are both under strikt control of the italian "Belle Arti", authority looking after our National monuments of which the villa is part of.

3) the pictures you posted I don't even know what to say about.
- As far as the kitchen ofen goes, what you pictured is actually the filter inside the chimney hood so it's not dirt :)
Check your own kitchen chimney hood :)
It's worldwide the same.
It's the filter holding the fumes coming up when cooking.
It shows though that you looked quite well in order to find some usefull spots for your review :)
I made sure though, that nobody else can make the same picture you did for the next 6-7 years: I changed it :)
- Kitchen equipment basic: a kettle stays a kettle and a toaster a toaster isn't it? :)
The apartment features as follows to be precise: fridge, freezer, 4 fire oven, toster, Moka, American Coffe Machine, Kettle, Microwave and airconditioning, WiFi and Sat-Flat screen TV.
Of course all thrown in a corner like you did for your picture......
I still don't understand how you could not have seen the kitchen on Arbnb or expected something different.
- the lampshade: in Villa Angelica there is absolutely no problem to change them :)

If it was not changed, it means that we probably didn't notice it (your picture shows that the damage is on the back of the shade), but you could have told me straight away or not?
I mean we saw eachother quite few times right?
Posting pictures afterwards just shows your bad intentions.

4) You where FREE to leave the proprety whenever you wanted...just without refund though :)
I told you that I would not have given you a refund based on a missed expectation (because you didn't know what you booked? you didn't see the pictures? you expected something different?) and that you should have asked for that directly Airbnb....this is what you did and this is how you got a refund from them.

5) Dog friendly means exactly what it means: dog friendly!! and apart of my 3 dogs you are counting into your review yes: you can expect animals running around freely and enjoying their holliday together with their owner!
The pool is offlimits as the animal guests have their own little pool (it's a old fountain in the park) to refresh themselfs.

Conclusion: For a guest who stayed only 3 nights at the Villa, let me say that you are making a BIG fuzz out of it.
A bad review on Google and not happy also on Tripadviser.
On Google you are even trying to warn other guests to be aware of my positive reviews.

If I have all this positive reviews and not only on Google, it means I'm doing my job in the proper way and that only YOU are the "black sheep" inbetween.

It's a pity that you didn't use or didn't enjoy the following services free to use: the city bikes, the sauna, the pool, the 5000m2 park and the historical ambiente the house brings with it.

Thank you anyway for your stay which helps me to maintain the villa and the park the way it is.

The one bedroom apartment we stayed in was very old and tired. Its promoted as traditional, but its just old, dark and dirty. It desperately needs redecorating and cleaning. Furniture was dirty, kitchen equipment basic. Did not enjoy our stay and actually tried to leave after one night. The outside area was very nice, hence the 2 stars, however, be aware that dog friendly means there could be 4 to 5 dogs running around the grounds, including bbq and swimming pool area at any given time.

Villa Angelica was truly an amazing accomodation , rooms where big enough, clean and cosy, good equiped kitchen , nice bathroom and good beds. 
The garden and swimming pool are very very nice ( and maintained very well to ! ) . The garden has a lot of cosy corners where there is some privacy, the swimming pool is very nice to with more then enough seats etc...
Good parking lot to, with a safe gate at the entry. 
Rafael/Angelica are very good guests ! We had a medical problem with or 4.5 year old son and they did everything to help us with that ( the morning after they aranged an appointment with a very good doktor for us ! ) , thank you again for that  , it was very helpfull for us !
Hope to come back in a couple of years !

We booked the Villa Angelica for our honeymoon and it certainly didn't disappoint.  The accommodation is truly beautiful with stunning gardens and a pool you can use at any time.  
Angelica greeted us as we arrived on our first night and made us feel welcome from the very start, she had kindly provided us with cakes and Prossecco to celebrate our wedding from the previous day.  When we awoke on the Monday we met her son Rafael who told us the history of the villa and the best places to visit and eat locally.  
As the villa is set 1 km up from lake Garda it gives you breathtaking views over the mountains and the lake. 
If you are looking for a relaxing, beautiful, romantic setting in the Italian lakes then we would recommend Villa Angelica.
