This hotel is truly a great find !
Its location is about 7 minutes walk from the railway station. And about 7 minutes walk to the shops and lake front. The staff Barbara and Max couldn’t do enough for us, they regularly checked in with us gave us great local advice and were just lovely and friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful it’s clean and our room was spacious with lots of storage and exceptionally clean and we had a  terrace. The hotel has a pool (unfortunately it was closed due to end of season) and a lovely garden and a pond with koi carp in.

Fantastic Villa Lilla hotel

This is a beautiful little hotel which we stayed in in October 2025. The room was large with plenty of space ,a balcony and a large comfortable bed. The room was spotless and very clean. The hotel is situated about 10 minutes from the railway station and around five minutes from the port and centre. Barbara is a wonderful host who cannot do enough for you to make your stay a pleasant one. Breakfast is in a lovely room overlooking the garden and pond which has Koi Carp in it. The breakfast is plentiful with cheeses and meats as well as cereals, eggs and bacon. There are also some very tasty pastries too. Plenty of tea and coffee and fruit juices. All in all Barbara and her staff made us feel very welcome and this made our stay in Desenzano a very pleasant experience. I would recommend this lovely hotel and would definitely stay here again.

A lovely, small, 3 * hotel. Location is great, just a few minutes walk to the centre of Desenzano. Only has 7 rooms so never feels crowded. Max was so friendly and welcoming and able to offer us advice on destinations, restaurants etc. 
Our room was large with a very comfy 6ft bed. Rooms cleaned daily,  towels and bedding changed every 3 days. Nice continental breakfast and a small pool to cool down in after a day's sightseeing.  Didn't have any tea or coffee making facilities in the room so we hired a kettle (€20 for the week). Didn't have many 2 pin sockets in the room so ideally bring a multi function adapter. Would definitely recommend.

Great, central,  3 * hotel in Desenzano

Very good location. But wouldn’t recommend. Was surprised that it didn’t feel like the staff wanted guests. I have never been to a less friendly hotel. First of all, there are rules for everything: not allowed to bring any food to the room, not allowed to look at fish, not allowed to play quietly in the pool. The fridge in the room is only Cooling/on when someone is in the hotelroom. Only One access card is handed out. And no electricity to charge when not present. We were not allowed to adjust or change the air conditioner, we were guided to just open the door if it’s too cold. 
The service level was zero, the manager seemed more or less angry and pissed og by everyone and every thing. Breakfast was not anything to mention. 
Location is very good, the hotel absolutely has the potential for being wonderful. But would never recommend.

Rude staff, lack of service and not allowed to actually be in hotel. Felt more like guests was unwanted.

The rooms as well asthe Villa distinguishes themselves for a refined and traditional style,characterized by details and namely synonym of hospitality.Each room is equipped with exclusive private service,Tv and air conditioning.
