Meanwhile, families will love the adventure hiking trail in the Paznaun valley with its 70m suspension bridges over the Fimbabach gorge.

Getting to and around town:
Your airport transfer is included with your trip. Once there, you'll find Ischgl a lively, well-equipped mountain village with an excellent range of restaurants, shops, and amenities.
Getting to your walks and hikes:
The Silvrettabahn gondola departs right from the village centre, whisking you to the Idalp plateau and the start of the high-mountain trail network. Six summer cable cars give you access to trails at every level, plus the valley buses run from Landeck-Zams train station all the way to Galtür.

Can I still access Ischgl's lift and gondolas in the summer?
Yes, you can. Ischgl's lifts and gondolas still operate throughout the summer months, provided conditions are safe and favourable, and many of the mountain huts are still operational, so you can grab a bite to eat while savouring those epic mountain views.
When do Ischgl's lifts and gondolas run during summer?

A quick "Mountain Rule of Thumb": Last ascent is usually 15–30 minutes before the official closing time, and Last descent is the very last cabin down. If you miss it, it’s a long walk back!
Can I hire a mountain guide on my Ischgl walking holiday?
Yes, you can. Though these are not currently bookable via the Heidi website, you can enquire and book with the local tourist office, or visit their website. We recommend enquiring early to ensure availability.
What does the Ischgl summer card give me?
Ischgl 's Silvretta Card Premium (free with select accommodation stays) includes unlimited buses in Paznaun and in Montafon and on the Silvretta High Alpine Road up to Bielerhöhe and Vermuntsee.
It also includes unlimited use of all operating cable cars in Ischgl, Samnaun, Galtür, Kappl, Montafon, Brandnertaland, and See along with one free bike transport daily.
