How it all began...
Hi, we're Marcus and Alexander — two brothers who love the mountains but hated how restrictive typical ski holidays could be.
The choice was either a package holiday (very easy, but not very flexible) or book everything yourself (very flexible, but not very easy).
"In 2018, so fed up with not being able to organise ski trips the way we wanted, we decided to do something about it."
We felt there there was a gap in the market for effortless, highly-customisable package ski holidays, so we started work from Marcus' loft.
"A winning combo of super-clever tech and a lovely team of passionate skiers. That's how Heidi was born."
From the two of us working nights and weekends, we've now grown into the UK's second-largest ski holiday company — but the reason we started hasn't changed.
"We wanted the freedom to build the trip we actually wanted, not the one a brochure decided for us. That's still exactly what Heidi is for."
So, what does that mean today? Well, it means searching thousands of ski trips in seconds, easily customising every detail, booking it all in one place, and knowing there's a lovely human on hand if you need them.
And, when the snow melts in May, that same freedom extends to our fantastic Heidi summer walking holidays too, which launched in 2026.
