Bergwelt Grindelwald - Alpine Design Resort

Grindelwald

A wonderful hotel in a magical place.

Having read a couple of the recent reviews we were a little apprehensive, but had no reason to be as this was an excellent hotel.

We had a fantastic view of the eiger and the balcony looked out on the mountain and the beautiful town before it. The room was very well appointed and had everything we needed, all to the highest standards. A particular favourite was the blanket which helped keep us warm in the evening. 

Throughout the hotel, the staff were excellent. From the young man who greeted us at reception who was supremely helpful and displayed outstanding customer service to the teams in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast who couldn’t do enough to help.

Everything in the hotel was very nicely done and appointed and we had a delightful stay and were very sad to drive away in the morning!
