First impressions were good but after noticing stains on the side of the beds I looked further and found a horror story! Filthy beds. Reception blamed housekeeping but management should be checking and doing periodical deep cleans. This clearly does not happen. Customer care was shocking. Was blocked at every attempt to contact management. 
Reception blamed the filthy beds on the fact the hotel was over 150 years old. I wasn't in the hotel and age of a building 100 metres away has nothing to do with cleanliness. 
They offered me another cabin but it was equally as bad. They offered to transfer me to the hotel, for an extra charge!!! They said the cabins were like that because they were cheap. My stay was not cheap and even if it was that does not excuse what I found.
The closer you look the more you see. Outside is shabby, guttering broken, outside furniture rusty. One bin for everything, no recycling.
Very run down, not like the website photos. Have attempted to upload photos via booking.com who I booked through, and Google maps, but they seem to allow only good photos.
