Haus Mary

Söll

This a bed and breakfast house which has the most fabulous train track running through the front garden which was about 50 yards from the hotel we were staying in. If you are staying in Soll, Austria you have to visit. The guy runs the trains on the track on the evenings and there are 4 different trains running. Well worth a look whatever age you are. It certainly drew a crowd.

Haus mary is situated 2 mins walking from the centre of town. 
The rooms are extremely clean and the breakfasts are very good.
The owners are very pleasant and very helpfull
A beautiful house set in a beautiful village
I will be visiting again.

Fantastic skiing holiday staying at haus mary

Excellent accommodation spotlessly clean.
About 6/7 min walk to ski lifts.
There is a free bus that operates every 15/20 mind also.annmarie looked after us very well and even filled our flask each morning.

Spotless

We recently stayed at Hause Mary in March earlier this year in the Ski season there was three of us staying in the one bedroom apartment this is the second year we have stayed and always and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The apartment are compact but very comfortable and very clean it has a cooker and fridge and plenty of facilities if you wanted to stay in or prepare your own food.
The house is brilliantly placed in the middle of the town and just 10 min walk to the Ski area and the Ski bus stops just outside and all the bars and cafes are all in and around the area.
We did not book Breakfast but had it most days all you have to do is let the owner Marie know the day before and for a small charge she prepares a great continental Breakfast eggs, meat, Cerials ,bread ,cheese, really good value.
The owners are really nice people very friendly and there is always a welcome the house is very clean and comfortable and there is a fantastic Model railway outside the front of the house which is great.
I will be returning to the Hause Mary but after an accident a may not be in the next  Ski season but may look to book through summer 2017 looking forward cant wait Soll is a beautiful town and I would love to see it in summer.

Fantastic stay at Hause Mary

Myself and my girlfriend were in Soll for a week in January and stayed in at Haus Mary. We loved our stay there as it was a really comfortable and friendly environment - especially due to the hospitality of our host, Anne Marie. 

Every morning we would go down for breakfast (a selection of hams, cheese, spreads and fresh rolls) and would be greeted by Anne-Marie who would like to come in, say good morning and have a chat. This made our stay feel very homely and one of the reasons we were genuinely sad to leave.

The location of Haus Mary is excellent - right in the centre of town with the bus to the gondola station stopping directly outside. Soll may only be a small town however being so central was great as there were many bars and restaurants only a few minutes walk away which made all the difference in the cold.

We opted for a double/twin room - which was very warm and had lots of space for all our bags. The room was very traditionally styled which we really enjoyed. We also had a balcony which overlooked some mountains (our room was at the back of the house). Additionally there were heated boot racks in the basement and we were able to store any damp ski gear there and it would be dry in the morning.

We were so glad we found this place and would certainly recommend it to anyone thinking of skiing in the skiwelt area. We have said we would certainly come back in the future!
