We are here now. 27th jan 26.Great location, True  ski in, ski out.
Lovely staff.  Very comfortable room, huge comfy bed, clean all around the hotel, lovely surroundings. Love the huge open fire and decor. The the ski lockets are just off the reception on the same level, so no steps to climb.  
Out of the whole experience, the only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because of the food. 
Where do I start......  .
Breakfast. Nothing gotours prepped. Water for eggs only warm at 7 30 when breakfast opens so you end up waiting 30 to 40 minutes for a soft boiled egg, toaster not on either . Takes forever.  Sausages are anaemic, scrambled eggs, watery. The bacon want brought out till half way through breakfast when most people had left. 
Dinner.  Bland, basic, again, anaemic looking food. 
Ended up eating out after paying for half board. 
Needs to do better in this department. 
The worst hotel we've been to for the food but up there as one of the nicest for the actual hotel vibe.

The staff were friendly and helpful , but it could be a lot better!! 
The food unfortunately gets served lukewarm  , it’s a buffet so it’s help your self , even if you catch it when the food comes straight out of the kitchen , it’s still only luke warm , not what you want after a day skiing , 
 We politely bought this to the attention of the waiting staff on a number of occasions, but it didn’t make any difference!
You have a kettle in your room which is nice but once the tea coffee has gone they will not replace!! Apparently it’s for a welcome drink only !! 
So we then went to bring a drink down after having breakfast to have a coffee in our rooms !! But we were stopped from doing that as well . 
The it took them most of the holiday to supply us with a bath towel each 
Also pretty disappointed with the wine , thought it would be great as we were in France !! 
But on the plus side the open fire was lovely to while away the time and have some very overpriced drinks

Enjoyed being here for two weeks. Good as previous years. Staff excellent, especially whilst partner was not well. Could not have done more for us. 
Room is basic, but has all needed for ski holiday.
Meals were mostly very good, with wide variety.
Thanks for another contented stay. Will return.

Staff were very good - helpful, professional and friendly.
Food was very good - tasty, plentiful and varied. Meal times could be a bit of a bun fight but you can’t blame the hotel for that - everyone wants to eat and get out on the slopes quickly or they’re ravenous after a day’s skiing. Depleted food serving  dishes were quickly replaced.
The room was all we needed EXCEPT for the unbelievable situation where our 2 paper (!) cups in our room and our 2 coffee sachets weren’t replaced once we’d used them. I asked at Reception the next day for replacements (you’d expect Room Service to do this) only to be informed that as we were booked in on a ‘Comfort package’ ( courtesy of Crystal Ski) we were only allowed one set! Unbelievable! We were reduced to drinking from the tap once we’d cleaned our teeth until I went to the local Spar to buy some mugs.
 I’ve stayed in many a crummy hotel where you always had a glass or earthenware mug and top ups for a tea bag or coffee sachet on a daily basis and would have expected this from any decent hotel.
I understand their wish for us to use their bar for drinks, but this had the reverse effect on us insofar as it encouraged us to drink anywhere except for our hotel!
This is a Management decision which is ridiculous.
It doesn’t stop me from recommending this hotel - but take your own cups!
