We've been for a week at the end of February and in my opinion was excellent! The apartment was clean and warm, just enough for a family of three!( we've been staying in Diamond building)! Slope wise was fantastic! Miles of slopes for any skier just at the door step! Basically its perfect for someone who want to ski not to stay in the apartment all day or shopping! Yes, its 100% recommandable!

Do your homework and make sure you know where you are booking. This is a great, family friendly place. We were the first week of Easter, all learning to ski with ESF (who are amazing!). 

The low point of the trip was check in. We'd emailed and called to make sure we could check in early. No promise, but it wasn't busy the week before we arrived, so it looked good. 

When we got in, the staff at Sun et Soleil could not have been more rude and unhelpful. We finally slept in the corridor for an hour and we're able to check in at 3.30. But the room had dishes we had to rewash and old soda bottles down the back of the sofa.

Also, the flat had no toilet paper, no coffee filters, no sponges, no dishcloth. 

So great place to learn to ski. But I'd book through AirBandb next time, or an owner direct. The residence booking system was the low point of our trip. 

Great first ski marred by horrible check-in

Have stayed here for years and just love it.  some say the building is ugly but it is of an age where architects were trying designs out.  This is a brilliantly functional building with a Galeria which provides restaurants, cafes, hairdressers, an osteopath, delicatessen and fabulous bakery in addition to the ski shops.  It has the absolute best disabled access and fantastic disabled ski facilities.  There are lots of smarter places but I challenge anyone to find a more functional one.  The skiing here is also fantastic with not only the La Plagne area (which is huge) but also Chambery and over to les arcs on the biggest cable car in the world.  I regard this place as home from home.
