This was our first visit to First Tracks Lodge in Whistler.  We popped up to Whistler Creekside for a mid-week getaway before the summer crowds arrive.   We checked in at the Legends front desk that is next door, and we’re greeted warmly by Marie.  She was very informative and friendly.  Our room at First Tracks was really clean, elegant, and spacious. The property was very well maintained, and we quite enjoyed the pool and hot tub area.  The lodge seems to geared towards adults, was very quiet and relaxing.   We plan to return to First Tracks in the future.

Relaxing mid-week getaway at First Tracks Lodge

First Tracks Lodge is located steps away from the Creekside Gondola in Creekside Village and offer true ski-in ski-out accessibility. In addition, First Tracks offers more options on size and space for those looking for condo-style properties. The three bedroom condo units comfortably fit 6 guests with a large kitchen. family and dining room. Ideal for guests looking to stay in the quieter Creekside part of town. Although farther from the main Whistler Village (~5 minute drive) than our other recommendations, First Tracks Lodge offers updated rooms and unparalleled ski-in and ski-out accessibility. True Ski in and ski out...great hotel!

Beautiful hotel right by the gondola.  Here is the problem…. Dusty’s is the restaurant located in the courtyard right across from the hotel.  Umm ok they close at 6pm.  Who is eating dinner that early??! I was traveling with a friend that injured her knee and we had to take a bus to the village to eat dinner because we arrived shortly after 6pm…. You would think it was midnight.  Makes no sense.  Don’t stay here if you plan on eating at a normal dinner time.

Excellent location at the bottom of the Creekside Gondola. Ski lockers are just a few feet away and the lodging was excellent. When the creekside gondola was not open we had free shuttle service to the whistler village and got a stamp to skip the main line. The lodge was quiet and there were 2 outdoor hot tubs (one for adults and second for families) and a heated pool. We were there during the arctic dump down to -4F so the hot tub was a necessity!!!  We would go back in a heartbeat. Also, there is a market walking distance away and a few nice restaurants as well as Japanese noodle house (yum)!  So although it’s not AT the main village, we had all the amenities without the crowd. There was also an EPIC counter at the bottom of the gondola. For those who don’t do blue and black runs, you can ride the gondola back down.
