Beautiful hotel in a picturesque location

My wife and I went here on our 10 year anniversary European Trip. Bad Gastein and this resort were easily one of the highlights of the whole trip. First off the location was breathtaking. Absolutely gorgeous views every which way you turned. The resort was in a great location and was easy to get to anywhere we needed to go. 

Be prepared for working your leg muscles. Nothing the resort can do but the whole town is on a mountain side so you walk up steep sidewalks and roads everywhere you go. We had to take breaks every few minutes but was well worth it. 

The staff was also great, any help we needed with understanding the language, culture, or food items.. They were a great help. We highly recommend a visit here!

Awesome resort and staff

Loved our stay at the Mondi in Gastein! The studio is perfect, quiet, and equipped to cook some meals; groceries are close by. Be prepared to walk hills; we loved the extra steps. Restaurants in the area are fabulous, Pizza~Napoli & Jagerhausl. Go to Klapo, right at the base of the ski hill, amazing food, cute but small, need a reservation.  Book Belleuve Alm for dinner, take up the one-person chair lift~order off the menu, the fondue was just ok, plan on going early and staying late to have cocktails at the open fireplace~historic and beautiful. Also, Orania Stuberl was excellent Austrian Fare. The town is so enchanting and beautiful. We skied, and that would take a book to tell you how amazing the experience was. Spring snow wasn't great, but the area is vast, the people are so friendly, and all the mountain huts offer insane experiences~GO!!
