Our stay at Hotel Monte Rosa in Zermatt was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and attentive staff made us feel genuinely welcome and at home. The hotel has a beautiful historical charm that never feels old-fashioned—instead, it combines tradition with warmth and comfort in a very special way.

The cozy bar is a real highlight, offering excellent food, outstanding cocktails, and very friendly, professional service. The cocktails were especially delicious and perfectly prepared. Breakfast had everything one could need, with great quality and a relaxed atmosphere to start the day right.

Overall, the level of service throughout the hotel truly felt like five-star quality. The in-house Restaurant 1818 deserves special mention as well: its creative and unique cuisine was exceptional, full of surprising flavors, and served in a fantastic atmosphere. Hotel Monte Rosa is a place where you instantly feel welcome, comfortable, and truly at home - we would happily return.
