Palisades Tahoe Lodge

Palisades Tahoe

We had a wonderful stay with our family! The lodge is in a perfect location—close to restaurants, hiking trails, and Tahoe City—with beautiful mountain views all around. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk staff were very friendly.

Our room was on the first floor, facing the mountains and a small lake. It was spacious, very clean, and included a kitchen—easily accommodating 5–6 people. The only downside was that everything felt a bit dated and well-used, and the front door was quite loud. It seems the property is due for a remodel, which will make it even better.

The pool and hot tub were highlights, offering stunning views of the mountains. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning

Beautiful location and amazing views

This was the first time i visited Tahoe with my boyfriend, and this place is just amazing. we had a really good time together, specially the skiing. 

Their safety measures are top notch, i was bit rusty as i did not went to skiing for a long time, but the skii classes there helped me. 

so do not think, go guys and enjoy.

Best skiing ever

This was the coolest mountain lodge we have ever stayed at.  Beautiful views over looking the Palisades mountains.  We enjoyed the hot tub with other visitors, and enjoyed that there was two tubs so lots of space to relax and enjoy.  Room was beautiful and accommodating bed was super comfortable.

Stunning mountain view lodge

Used to be clean and well attended.  They no longer clean your room during your stay.  They did before covid and just decided to monetize the savings to the determent of the guests.  Our room was dirty from the start, with food remnants in the pull out sofa. They cleaned that on the first night, and never anything else.  

The cleaning crew is unable to provide any assistance -likely outsourced.  If you ask them anything, they just look at you.  

As I have stayed here at least 6 other times, I can tell you that it is a complete hit or miss.  Some units are nicely remodeled.  Others are old and smelly.  There is no "standard" in this lodge.  

If you want a place on the mountain to ski in/out, this is very convenient, and could meet your need.  As such, avoid except for the ski season.

Great Location - Medicore Accomodations

Really enjoyed our short stay here in mid August. There are excellent trails heading from the resort. Facilities are very good and staff friendly and helpful. There are a few good outlets around although the place was very quiet given its main purpose as a ski resort. Blues night was great fun and obviously attracts a lot of local characters
