Les Crosets

Loved the lodge - rooms are classic alpine style, very comfortable and well equipped. WiFi works well. Food is outstanding - always a special for breakfast and dinner as well as lovely range to choose from on the menu. Nice small gym, the spa is also a treat at the end of a day skiing. There’s a games room and cinema room too so lots for us to enjoy. Staff as mentioned in other reviews are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The main lifts in Crosets are accessed via a small button lift outside the hotel and it is really ski in/out. Les Crosets lifts allow you to access the whole of Porte due Soleil area and we mixed days in French side with days on Swiss. Overall lovely stay

Lovely hotel

This was our second stay at Mountain Lodge and it did not dissapoint. As mentioned in other reviews the team at Mountain Lodge excel at customer service. Everyone is helpful and responsive. Cecile, Jade, Red and Juan (to name only a few)really enhanced the pleasure of our stay. The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly and the location is stunning - ski in /ski out. The rooms were always clean and the food is delicious with a good variety of choice.

Marvellous Mountain Lodge

In Jan '26, I was part of a very large group who spent an amazing week staying at the Mountain Lodge! The hotel is amazing - a super-sized jacuzzi with mountain views, sauna, steam room, cinema, and games room. The hotel is perfectly located next to Hamau drag lift, for beginners to pracitice, and which gives direct access to the 3 main chair lifts - Les Crosets, Grand Conche, and Mossettes!
The hotel food was superb and the staff are so friendly, attentive, and helpful. Adam leads the team and has created such a great culture within the team. the guests really benefit from that and the customer service the team delivers is excellent. 
But I wanted to give a special mention to the team in the hotel ski shop - Juan and Liam! I took my damaged skis to them for a full service on the day I arrived! They highlighted some damage that I hadn't noticed, and spent the next two days bringing my skis back to pristine condition! These two are great people and amazing ski technicians! There isnt much they dont know about skis and boards. Their passion and knowledge delivers a superb service... and always with a big smile! I was very happy!!
I have been skiing for many years and visited many great ski resorts! I can honestly say that I have never received a better all-round service! 
Well done on achieving such a level of excellence! Liam and Juan are a credit to their craft, the team, and the hotel!
They were a big part of making my ski holiday so amazing!

Mountain Lodge (Switz) - Ski shop and staff

The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. They were very friendly and very personable.
The rooms are very comfortable and there is a beautiful view from all bedrooms, the common areas of the bar and Restaurant and also the spa has a wall of glass windows. You look out onto the most magical mountains.
We were a big group and they accommodated us all.
The food is excellent, they have an amazing chef. Everyone is happy to help whether it be in the restaurant, the Ski hire area, which is just across from the hotel.
Transfers can be arranged, and everyone is super helpful. Overall an incredible holiday, with great Snow as well.

Loved this hotel - with its crack team of young, enthusiastic, multi-lingual staff and chilled chalet vibes!

The location is great with quick access to the vast Portes du Soleil area via a short drag just outside the hotel. At the end of the day you can ski directly back to base and leave your kit at the hotel’s own ski hire shop (again with super-friendly and helpful staff). Having stayed in various other parts of the Portes du Soleil over the years I found Les Crosets much more chilled and relaxed than other resorts in the area and it was noticeable just how much less crowded the slopes were on the Swiss side. That said, it’s just one fast lift to the French border, and you can be in Avoriaz itself in less than half an hour. 

Once off the slopes a cosy lounge with open fire or spacious south facing terrace (for those warm spring days) offer chilled après vibes. Or you can relax in the small but perfectly formed spa complete with jacuzzi plunge pool, sauna and steam room. There is also a games area with pool table and cinema that you can book for private sessions!

The food is fabulous with generous portion sizes and a varied menu that caters well for vegetarians and vegans. Our room was spacious and charming with a wrap-around balcony and stunning views of the Dents du Midi. All in all we were very happy with our stay in the Mountain Lodge and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a chilled but quality stay in the heart of the Portes du Soleil.
