Second visit and still a great choice for ease of access to the mountain. 

We recognised a lot of the staff and they are super helpful. The restaurant is well run, the choice of food very extensive and of good quality. 

An upgrade to the hotel’s boot room was a plus as the old one was a bit dated. Now you have lovely warm boots ready for you in the morning. 

The warmth of the room takes a bit of getting used to, so with all heating off, opening the window in your only option. 

The interior decor and way it’s presented is really homely, but I do wonder why there is a constant 80s music playlist on all day. A bit odd to be having breakfast with Bohemian Rhapsody! A minor point, but worth considering more of a local soundtrack…

The Spa looks fab but is costly at €66 for 3hr and no resident discount. Gym is free and well equipped. 

In summary: a great base for skiing and if you have Mountain View rooms, super quiet at night.

However, at the time of the reservations, we always remind our guests to arrive 10 minutes before their appointments to ensure a smooth experience. Nevertheless, this is not an excuse, and we regret that this affected your visit.

Our Spa Manager personally contacted you, and we were able to reach an understanding by offering you a complimentary entry to our spa circuit. Therefore, we were surprised by your comment, as we believe the matter was addressed and resolved together.

I came with my son especially because of the recommendations for this spa, but the experience turned out to be disappointing and frustrating. I purchased a 50‑minute treatment for €125, yet in reality we received only 40 minutes.

When I asked why – even though we were the last customers – I was told that we were late and that it was “on us.” This claim is simply false: we booked the treatment just 8 minutes before, I arrived on time, and all the delay was caused by the reception staff who wasted time with irrelevant small talk instead of processing us quickly.

No one bothered to inform us in advance about the shortened treatment, and the representatives at the hotel entrance showed a completely dismissive and unhelpful attitude. Instead of a professional and pleasant spa experience, we were met with indifference and lack of transparency.

This is an impressive alpine style hotel. The foyer is beautiful but just one or two little things let the hotel down. Overall we loved the hotel. We had a Mountain View room and views of the mountains were stunning. The room was spacious, clean with plenty of storage and the bed was so comfy 🥰. The dining room is large with a good variety of food so you always find something you like. Our only annoyance was that the beans were always cold at breakfast. The breakfast offering was excellent though with lots of options and the chefs on omelettes
 making were lovely and friendly. The hotel had a pool and snooker table but the two cues that were there at the beginning of the week disappeared midweek and the hotel couldn’t offer an explanation and had no spare cues !! 
There are lots of large relaxing seating areas and we recommended they could have ping pong 🏓 tables too. Access to the Gondola 🚡 is right under the hotel. The ski lockers are modern and warm and just steps away from the hotel. 
🌟🌟🌟🌟we would return to this lovely hotel. The spa is accessed from this hotel to Hermitage next door.

Had a very nice stay at the Sport Hotel Village.  We had two rooms, a mountain view room and a road view room.  The mountain view rooms are excellent, and give a really good view of the 4 runs that arrive at the door of the hotel.

Breakfast and Dinner are both buffet style, with freshly cooked items at both meals (eggs, bacon etc in the morning and local dishes in the evening).  The range of food available is massive and I struggle to think of anyone not being happy with the food. 

There have been some reviews discussing the cost of the bar.  Its 7E for a large beer and 4E for a coke; more expensive than Pas de la Casa down the road, but way cheaper than the Alps!  

Its described as ski in ski out; Yes it is, but its a little complex.  The boot room is just outside the main door of the hotel, and then its a walk (entirely under cover) to the cable car - probably 75 metres.  Ski in is either cable car from the top of the resort to the hotel, or ski down the 4 runs that come to the hotel and straight into the lift.

Bathroom big, clean and loads of hot water.

For me I really cant fault things.  Yes the spa is a paid for extra, but we knew that before we went, so its not an issue.  The hotel WIFI is excellent (big tick from the girls!)

Really enjoyed the hotel
