Great atmosphere at a great location. The people are all so welcoming and helpful. Great breakfast in the morning and great hot tub after skiing.

My experience was utterly unacceptable from the very start at reception, where I was shocked to find that digital cards were flatly refused and only a physical card would be accepted for check-in. My daughter's intervention was required just to verify my identity—a completely unnecessary hassle. The room we received was oppressively brown in décor, falling far short of any reasonable expectation. Although we requested an upgrade, it was first granted and then abruptly rescinded, apparently due to arbitrary complaints about our communication style. Finally, we were given an ultimatum: stay in the disappointing room or risk losing our entire booking, worth nearly $5,000. The disregard for customer service was astonishing at every step.

I am submitting this complaint due to multiple service failures and misrepresentation during my stay at Tivoli Hotel. The valet parking service was extremely poor and incomplete, yet undisclosed valet fees were charged. We were also assigned a room with constant mechanical noise that made sleeping impossible. Despite reporting this issue multiple times over five days and providing audio evidence, no action was taken by staff or management.

Additionally, although we paid in advance for a room with a balcony and this was confirmed at check-in, the assigned room did not have one. We were later told that to receive a balcony room we would need to pay an additional $1,700, despite already having paid for this feature.

Throughout our stay, staff and management were dismissive and unprofessional. Given the high cost of the hotel, the service provided was unacceptable. I am requesting Expedia’s assistance in reviewing this matter and addressing the misrepresentation and lack of service experienced.

Fireplaces Windows open a little for the Cold Air
